This salon is most definately over rated by some..very expensive and I would not recommend...I have also heard that the Bentalls Kingston branch has closed under red chat ownership as they have gone into debt...wonder why?
If they lowered prices and upped service they may survive...
Too many other decent salons to use so doubt these postings will have any effect on the management

A head massage consisted of a girl rubbing oil in our hair for less then a minute whilst yelling across the salon. I had a male stylist who did not introduce himself, he asked me what I wanted and I said layers (I have very long hair) and a sweeping long fringe to the side. He asked when was the last time I washed my hair and I replied last night and as such he instructed the girl to leave the wash out. After that he did not say another word to me for the entire time.
My hair was not washed and instead a 'conditioning treatment' and luke warm towel placed on, I was then left there for 10mins (no offer of a drink) until he had come back from a cigarette break!!!! My hair was badly rinsed (so now oil plus conditioner had left it very greasy) and I was taken to the chair where he proceeded to pull and yank my hair in all directions.
He wore rubber gloves that pulled at my hair (he was not colouring mine or anyone elses hair so the gloves were only there to try and cover up the smell of cigarettes on his hands I presume) which they did not. Whilst he cut a fringe in all I could smell was an ashtray. He cut my hair in a way I have never seen in my life. He ignored all my requests, cut a crooked fringe above my eyebrows (not the sweeping to the side I asked for), he cut one semi layer in (the left and right sides are not level) and then when asked how I usually dry my hair, to which I replied hair dryer, but I don't use straighteners. He poceeded to blow dry and backcomb my hair. By this point someone had attempted a poor hand massage and I was on the verge of tears.
DO NOT GOT THERE if you want to be treated like a human being because it won't happen.

Dreadful place with very INCOMPETENT staff. the front desk staff were clueless and unhelpful. seriously overpriced for what they offer. The level of customer service was poor with inadequate facilities. Manicure the worst I have ever had - don't bother going there if you want good service with a friendly smile and value for money.

Poor team of incompetent people.
The massage area is empty and cold as they just moved in.
Bought a 60 minutes massage, it lasted 45 minutes.
Bought a 45 minutes manicure, it lasted 15 minutes and was done in the waxing room on top of the waxing bed as they don't have a proper manicure table.
The manicure was done by a trainee with dirty disgusting bitten nails!
Don't waste your money and go elsewhere!!
