Hair By Toyin

I found Toyins as a stop gap as my regular hairdresser was not available so I was a bit apprehensive using somewhere I wad not familiar. However, my first impressions have lasted, I have short hair so getting the style right is key and the assistant I had is brilliant at understanding what I want and getting my style right. I'd recommend my stylist and 1 other can't speak for the rest.

This is a tough one, overall I feel toyin does not deliver in terms of experience. I have been going there for over four years so this a honest account. I would advise visiting toyin ONLY IF YOU HAVE Short or medium HEALTHY HAIR!!! I can not stress HEALTHY enough. The advice you will receive if your hair is damaged is to hide it (tracks, weaves) whereas a good stylist would advise you to not put any extensions in your hair e.g. tracks and let it thicken up naturally. Been going to toyins for nearly 2 years now and they never fail to disappoint. Waiting is sometimes a pain but it's worth it. Toyin herself will always recommend treatments for your hair.

Very rude staff including the owner herself! You can set a price before hand but they can later had more to it. Never going there again and I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends. Nice decor though compared to others in green st

Toyin and her staff are always very polite friendly and proffesional. I always come away feeling satisfied and happy to pay their reasonable prices.
