having just been to ott again this weekend and having yet another great hair cut after years of going there after plenty of experiences of bad hair dressers i have to say it is one of the best in the area the girls are friendly and always helpful full of advise i would recommend that any one either local or not try them

OTT has changed dramatically over the past year or so - a salon that used to offer a good to standard service now offers below what anyone would call a 'standard' service, in fact I would describe my last visit to this salon as a disaster.

The salon was completely empty when I came in for my appointment leaving me with an negative first impression. I came in for just a colour treatment and as I exclaimed to the stylist what I wanted she seemed very unprofessional and unsure about what she was going to do - this left me feeling unsure and uncomfortable.

I opted for a simple all-over colour, after roughly applying this on my hair (pulling my hair out in pain to my horror) I reassured myself waited for what seemed far too long in the deserted salon telling myself that the end result would be fine. I was wrong.

When this dye was finally washed out of my hair (by an assistant who could clearly not even manage to preform this correctly; splashing water in my eyes and leaving the conditioner in - she had to wash my hair twice as this was pointed out to her) it revealed a murky dirty brown to GREY! colour with no shine, I had came in a light blonde with hair in a very good condition. Also I would like to add that I am under 25 years old and had no original greys to begin with!

Overall this was a humiliating experience, not just for me but, for the stylists as they reacted to what they had done to my hair in a beyond pathetic/unprofessional way, showing that they clearly have little skill in this profession to get something as simple as dying hair so horribly wrong - also I was still made to pay for this disaster which really put the icing on the cake for me!

I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their hair cut here to take their hard earned money to another salon!!

Always a pleasure going here. They are a young team but very talented, friendly and welcoming. I have had my hair cut by 3 different stylists and I was pleased with all 3 results. Go on, give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
