Ilki

I have known Ilki for over 20 years. Ilki is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I dont see her as often as i used to since moving out of North London, but she always welcomes me in and offers a nice cup of tea and the odd chocolate. It is always nice to see Ilki beautiful person inside and out ?

I recently started going to Ilki on recommendation of 2 friends. I have very fine hair, which when blow-dried goes very flat very quickly. Ilki cut my hair, discussed a suitable colour with me. I was extremely pleased with the colour. Because my hair is so fine, she suggested a 'shampoo and set' a skill which I thought was hardly ever practiced by hairdressers now. She said it would be perfect for my fine hair. She was absolutely right. Being of a generation brought up on Shampoo and Set, I knew she was right, but it is quite hard to find a hairdresser who will do it, or I suspect, aren't really sure what it entails. I was really impressed. She really is a hair DRESSER - dressing out the style seems to be non-existent in some salons.She knows exactly how to DRESS hair. The salon is bright and cheerful wth lovely coffee, close to Park Road, I would really recommend it..I find Ilki herself very interesting, and interested, to talk to.

Best salon ever. Ilki is a lovely amazing hairdresser. What a friendly salon. Would recommend it to all!

I have been having my hair done at Ilki's for a couple of years. All of the staff are very professional and friendly and there is always a good atmosphere in the salon. I would highly recommend a visit to Ilki's!

I have found this to be the best salon in Crouch End, always friendly, nice atmosphere, and I am very happy with the service and the prices too(have been here 3 times). The staff here make you comfortable and listen to what you want.

I was completely appalled by the behavior depicted by this hair salon. They were very rude to their employees, using harsh and threatening tones to their juniors, yet when in contact with a customer, they would become very fake and suddenly show a gentle side. I picked this up from the long waiting time I was put under, and when finally I was put under the spotlight to get my hair done, the job they did was unsatisfactory and I was far from pleased. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I went to Ilki to have a cut and color. Peggy was my stylist. She took a great deal of time checking my hair and talking about my color and cut. The cut was terrific, Peggy was lovely and chatty and did a great job. All other staff (shampooist and reception were very pleasant). Recommended.
