Chez Felicienne

I get anxious trying a new hairdresser and was looking for an experienced afro hardresser for my long mixed hair. Despite limited internet or social media presence, I found an interview with Felicienne that discussed her years of teaching afro hairdressing and experience, so I thought I'd give her a go. I felt like I was in safe hands and the result was really good. I could sense her skill and attention to detail. I had previously tried an afro barber to get a cut and tbh, it was brutal and he didn't account for shrinkage so I went from going in for a trim and shape to a tiny amount of hair and sore scalp to boot! In comparison, Felicienne used her skill over strength to detangle and blow out without any pain or broken hair and gave me a good cut. The ambiance is relaxed, homely and non pretentious, like visiting aunties, it made me comfortable. I would recommend based on results, price and service.
