Fabulous salon! They really can do hair here and I'm never disappointed. My hair always looks and feels wonderful. Great customer service and good stylists - job done.

Convenient location, although pricey. I often feel anxious when it appears the owner and staff members discuss pricing etc 'in code', with whispers, to ensure the customer is 'paying the correct fee'. I would suggest the owner addresses this, as these actions are unprofessional and can make the customer feel very uncomfortable. Micromanagement is very apparent at this salon. Treatment time is approximately 4 hours. At times I have been told the boiler is broken, and hair is washed in cold water with no discount provided. However, hair feels great once treatment is complete. A lot of potential here.

I was told this was a very good hairdressers. So I went with my friend to get her hair done, great service, lovely staff, to the point where I was so impressed I decided to get booked in with one of the stylists. She booked me in for a Monday, to then turn up and they were closed. Called the next day 9.30am, going to voicemail, kept calling and calling, no answer. Really really disappointed, I highly doubt I'd be going back or recommending this place to any one I know. Complete waste of time, I haven't been contacted once for an explanation either. Terrible and unprofessional.

I've now been contacted and offered a discount on my next appointment. They were very apologetic and understanding of my frustration, I guess everyone makes mistakes, so I'm willing to let this go. I will book another appointment, let's hope I actually get my hair done this time!

Amazing salon - first starting going in my early twenties...I'm now a lot older :-)
What I love about the salon is the modern styling methods which are the norm in America and the more high end black hair salons in the UK. Her blow dries are a dream!!!....

The waiting time and service could really be improved or more staff are needed as I booked my appointment midweek when it wasn't too busy, and I was waiting 3 hours only having my hair brushed in all this time! Considering I was having a relaxer, extensions put in and then died it's unacceptable to be waiting that long!

After speaking with Maria on Thursday 8th of May, the client who posted this message (Maria) now appreciates that the service time became extended due the necessity of removing the weave she presented with when visiting the salon, which took at 75minues. The actual treatment time which involved, perming, blow drying and re-installing the weave to meet her satisfaction took three hours, which the client accepts as a normal treatment time.

This salon has been here for nearly two decades! Sandra gives amazing service and her knowledge of hair is second to none. Vanessa Andar is the place for hair styling.

I have been going to VA now for over 10 years. The service and skills of VA is really good. What great is Sandra is always updating VA. Putting her customers first for comfort. Thank you Sandra
