Happy Faces is not only the first but also the UK's leading luxury children's hair salon and party zone. The first salon to open was located on the charming Webbs Road in Clapham, London.

Established in early 2009 by a local mum, who wanted to create a salon purely dedicated to children and there wants. Her aim was to create a magical concept that every cheeky monkey would love and look forward to having a haircut rather then fear it. With this in mind the Happy Faces concept was born.

Disappointed with the service at this venue. The greeting was lukewarm, the hairdresser did not interact with my daughter at all. My daughter is only 2 and she obeyed the woman but I felt uncomfortable with the treatment. Finally when it was time to cut the fringe, she sprayed water on her face and did not even apologise, my daughter winced. But then the lady proceeded to cut her bangs and then my daughter was shaking when she had the scissors approach her face without even a warning. I went to my daughter to reassure her. This lady did not even notice. Not going back. No experience with kids.

I have never seen a children's hair salon before but what a brilliant idea it is, I took my 3 year old daughter for a trim and came out with a princess. She had a mini manicure, a trim, and a glitter tattoo, and she loved it, I would recommend them to anyone.

My daughter has been bugging me about having a make-up party for a few years now however i never felt it was appropriate, Then her birthday this year was approaching and she asked me again still not sure i thought i would check it out, i went and spoke to a very nice girl at happy faces and she explained everything to me, i was so surprised she advised me that all the make-up and nail vanishes were all non toxic, They even have hair protecter (Natural again) so when there styling the hair the hair does not get damaged, the thought was going round and round in my head my daughter could have this party after all, so i made the decision, i booked it there and then, best decision i have ever made.

She had her party on friday just gone she has not stopped talking about it since, come to think of it neither have all its all i have told my friends about!!

if you want the safe but super parties Happy Faces is the place.........

Hi everyone just thought i would share my experience with you !!

I took my two year old boy to HAPPY FACES the children's hairdressers, in london, and can i just say what an amazing experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, polite and pleasant, calm and patient. I have to say my son wasn't exactly behaving himself, what more could he want he got to sit in a thomas train, watch peppa pig and have a lollypop.

All i can say is thank you Happy Faces for a wounderful experience all jack says is peppa, lollypop, haircut, i think you changed his attitude about haircuts !!!!!!

THANKS !!!

I had my daughters birthday party at the Fulham branch on the weekend and i have to say it was amazing. it was by far the best birthday party that we have ever done for her. she had an amazing time with her friends with all the pampering and the games aswell. She was really upset when it was over cos she didnt want to go home. the prices for the party are very good, it worked out cheaper to use Happy Faces then it didnt to hire a room n do everything by myself. The girls that did the party were amazing aswell they were so good with the kids and they even had fun dancing with the girls. I would definitely do her party with Happy Faces again.
Thank you girls!!!

I have never taken my little one to the hairdressers before as I have always attempted to cut his hair myself. As he is now 4 and some of my friends have commented as to his bad haircut I felt it best to finally take him for a haircut somewhere nice.

I asked friends where they go and all but one sad happy faxes so I felt I gad to give them a go. I tried to book an appointment at the clapham salon but was unable to as they had a waiting list so I decided to drive over to the other side of the river and visit fulham.

As zoom as we walked through the door Lucas was so exited, shouting mummy mummy Thomas! He could not wait to jump into the seat. The stylist was a lovely young girl, so friendly and kind towards us made us feel at home. She asked what kind of haircut I wanted then kindly explained every step of the haircut to me so that I felt happy with what she was doing. Before Lucas noticed she was finished, and may I just say he looked fab! nothing like the job I did. We left super happy and both with a lolly pop lol to be honest I enjoyed it as much as he did.

Fab haircut and a nice salon

See you soon girl

Im sooooo happy that i would like to share what i have to say!!!!!!

I have just come back from happy faces in clapham, i took my four children and just have to say i will for sure be going back!!

My kids hadnt really enjoyed having haircuts in your normal salon they said it was very boring, My children are 5,5,7, and 10 so they want something exciting especially the older girls, when we arrived the twins eyes lit up as they saw peppa pig on the tv and a noddy's car, where as the girls saw the glitter floors and the grown up chairs, the smile was unforgettable:)

The staff were so polite and well presented the salon was so clean considering as we got there people were leaving. And the haircuts outstanding, before i went i read up on the staff on there website to see if one was more experienced or better but i must say they were both as equally good as eachother and very good with the children!!

Sorry im going on alot but i really cant believe how AMAZING it was !!!!!!!!

THANK YOU HAPPY FACES :):):):)

Hi:))I took my 4 years old son to Happy Faces in Fulham on Monday and I’m very very happy with the haircut. My son really enjoyed the experience and he loved being able to watch the cartoon Peppa Pig:) and being able to sit in Thomas the tank engine.
We recently went to trotters and he wouldn’t sit still and cried constantly. So we ended up leavin with half a haircut, but the girls in happy faces were so good with him and he actually enjoyed getting his hair done.
Now I know the best place to take my son back to
I’ll highly recommend Happy Faces to everybody that I know.

I took my 5year old son and my 1year old daughter to the new happy faces in fulham on Saturday and even though they was very busy they still manage to fit my son and daughter in. The girls were so good with both of my kids. The whole experience there was great the kids absolutely loved the cars and being able to watch peppa pig.

I think the salon itself looks great too with the amazing pictures and the crab tvs. The salon makes you wish u was 5 again.

Will definitely be going back again.

Hope all goes well for the happy faces team and I will be recommending you to everybody that I know

Hello,

Just wanted to share my experience with everyone!!! We visited the Fulham salon yesterday with my 2 year old boy and 5 year old girl!! What an amazing place .... The haircuts were fab, the staff could not do enough, I was even offered a lovely cup of coffee while one of the stylists was doing the coffee run ... I was so pleased to find out that they offer parties, my little girl loves glitter and Princesses, everything girlie really ( she is a lot like mummy!!!), so the Pamper party would be ideal for her ... We can't wait to have it in September.

I can see the point of the review below that the toilet is on the small side - but who cares really! We were there for the haircut and the experience my kids received could of no been any better even if the toilet was the size of the salon ... At least they have one lol ...

Anyway - if toilet size is not top of the agenda when you get you kids haircut, please go and see for yourself ...... I rate them on haircut, customer service and overall experience, for that they get my 10 stars .... And am surprised you had an issue with the lollypop as they asked me if my kids are allowed to have them before they were given them! If you find it a hazard all you had to say is ..no thanks!

Thought we would try the new Fulham branch.

Initial phone call to check prices (9.59am), salon closed so listened to answerphone meassage which said all opening times and prices were on the website, checked website - "Fulham site under construction" so I called back, receptionist was very curt when I explained that I had checked the website "well its the same as the other branch" and still didn't tell me the opening times or prices!

I ignored this inital rudeness and booked an appointment. Arrived for appointment, salon was empty and 4 staff huddled around an ipad, I struggled a little getting a toddler and buggy through the door - no one helped me. Inital impressions were staff didn't care at all. Design of the studio is great and my one year old loved the cars and Peppa Pig on the TV. However staff continued to be rude and uninterested. We had a 5 minute hair cut by someone who did not come across as having any experience in cutting childrens hair.

Used the toliet which was tiny, almost impossible to help a toddler use the toilet in and no sign of any baby change facilities - surprising given the target customers.

When we were leaving our one year old was offered a boiled sweet lollipop - again a reminder that the staff were not used to dealing with children - who would offer such a choking hazard to a one year old?? Our toddler said thank you and good bye, as did we when we were leaving, no response from the staff - huddled around the ipad again

Biggest waste of £13.95.

Hello Kate

I went to Happy Faces last Saturday for my little girl’s haircut and I was so happy with everything.
From the cute haircut to the whole experience at the salon. The staff are so lovely and everything in the salon is stunning I could not believe the murals on the walls and that she could sit in a car to have her haircut!! Both my husband and I would like to recommend happy faces to every parent, as they are the best.

VERY HAPPY MUM WALKED OUT OF HAPPY FACES.
