Style Lounge

Disappointingly given the lovely reviews below, I turned up to a closed salon at 10 am for my 10 am appointment today. Someone finally arrived at 10.15 - not my hairdresser- and let me in, but the lady who was meant to be doing my hair was nowhere to be seen. I waited for over an hour, was offered a cup of tea after fifty minutes, and was eventually told "maybe she forgot the clocks had changed." I left, with no apology and no hair do. Dreadful.

I am a new client to style lounge, i was recommended by a friend and i must admit my experience their was amazing, the warm welcome and the friendly staff made my visit very comfortable, the hairdresser listened to what i wanted and the results were fantastic. very happy and will definantley be goin back

Style Lounge is a fabulous place. I rarely feel at ease in a salon but it is cool and laid back, the staff are great and really look after you. If i want to gossip there is gossip and if i want to be quiet there's room for that too. My every colour whim and indecision has been met with true creativity backed up by skill. And my new colour and cut always get compliments!

I found Style Lounge by luck walking on Old York Road a few days after it opened. Since then, I never looked back! I have my hair high-lighted and cut at Style Lounge regularly by Nick, and it is always a very special experience... Oh, it makes me think that I need to book my next appointment, very soon!...

It's hard to find a fabulous hairdresser in London, and when you do, you stick with it! Style Lounge is one of those places.
I've been going to Style Lounge since it opened. I've followed my hairdresser Nick, for several years (from his past salons) to when he opened Style Lounge. He's a fantastic hairdresser, lovely person and his service is the best I've experienced in London. I did stray to another hairdresser when I moved house, which I regretted and I immediately went back to Style Lounge. I've never had a bad haircut or colour at Style Lounge. I always leave a very happy customer!
Style Lounge quite literally has a relaxed lounge feeling. The staff are friendly and attentive. Service is excellent, from the smile as soon as you as you walk in the door, to the relaxing head massage. The salon has funky contemporary design (with a beautiful chandelier), clean and has cool music that suits the mood. They sell Redken and Pureology organic hair products, which I always stock up on. They also have a spa style treatment room, I recommend the manicure. And the surprising thing is that the prices are excellent for a South London salon. I've always been impressed.
I've recommended several friends to visit Style Lounge as well and all of them are now regular customers. I highly recommend Style Lounge in Wandsworth Town - 32 y/o female.

I have been a customer of Stylelounge since 2007. The positive comments I receive about my hair are literally a constant flow. Styelounge treats me like a princess everytime and it is clear all the other customers feel very happy too as I often chat to them when I am there and they say the same sorts of things about Stylelounge. While other stylists at the salon have cut my hair in the past, it is Nick that currently takes care of my hair, and I feel compelled to say that he consistently exceeds my expectations; sometimes he knows what I want before I even know I want it! I have always left the salon knowing that what I have paid for was miles better than I had initially imagined, and that is only possible if your a truly talented haidresser.
Nick has a gift, and I have repeatedly observed him guiding and informing his staff with everything he knows, to help create a seriously talented body of staff. And on top of that they are all so friendly. The atmosphere is fab.
I have raved about the salon to friends and brought them along, they too have left feeling the same way. This is the best salon I have been to and it's very worthy of such loyalty as mine :)

I miss Stylelounge! I have moved to Australia and there is no salon like it here! Stylelounge is relaxed, beautiful, cool music, amazing service, extremely talented and friendly stylists and just a fantastic relaxed lounge atmosphere perfect for men and women. I wish I could fly back to London every 2 months to get my hair done by Nick!

Style Lounge is the best hair salon I have been to. The staff are very friendly and the hairdresser (Nick) is amazing. He creates masterpieces every time. They really listen to what you want and cut and colour hair perfectly. You know sometimes you go to a hairdresser an ask for a trim but they cut half your hair off? Not at Style Lounge! They style your hair as the result you imagine.

You will feel pampered, looked after and leave with a great hair style that lasts. I recommend this hair salon to all my friends as I am always 100% satisfied, it's really value for money.

I couldn't disagree more - I have been visiting Style Lounge for two years & each time can't wait to go back! All the staff are friendly & professional, colouring & cutting is exceptional & I feel relaxed & pampered when I leave. I have been to many salons over the years & Style Lounge is the best of the bunch!

Great exterior, cool, minimal, tasteful interior but unfortunately possibly the worst haircut I have ever had. It also took almost ONE HOUR for a gents cut (i admit though that my style is not a simple short, back and sides) but in the end I just wanted the experience to end. The hairdresser was more passionate about recalling details of his break-up with his girlfriend than about taking interest in my hair. Don't be fooled by the smart interior and professional salon prices (£32). The wash and head massage was OK, but the cut was shockinglig bad. I had to return a week later to my previous hairdress (Park Hairdressing in Battersea) to sort out the bad finishing. [35 year old male customer from Southfields]
