Hair Of Connaught Village

Please do not go to Connaught Hair & Beauty for waxing.My first & last visit to this place was for face waxing.I have got 2 big waxing scars,one near my lip and other near right sideburn.The lady does not know the technique of pulling hair.She neither knew the correct direction of applying wax nor the right direction to pull.It was as though she was doing it for the first time.To remove small hair she did threading and she gave me thread nips too.I had a very bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.I feel she was not a trained beautician/professional.

Didnt have the best experience with them, poor english and after being persuade to take a saturday appointment when i did explained might b hard to make it on time cause of work said i should still come.got there and after spending money and time she claimed it was not enough time and she will have to stay extra. Also after asking her over the phone how much extra for thick and long hair intially she said £10 when i got there she said £20.Told her i wouldnt want her to stay over her programme and left.Def poor customer service.I guess you really do get for what you pay!

I have been going to the salon many time for hair and nails. They are the sweetest people you will ever meet . They do an excellent job and they treat you so well. It is such a pleasant salon to visit.

I went to this salon on a Groupon voucher - I liked the fact they matched the colours really well to what I had but my roots were still really visable when I left, so good colours but not good application. I got the feeling that the colourist was quite new to it as she had some trouble with the foils, although they assured me she was a senior colourist! Also I had to pay more than the original voucher because even though I bought half head highlights they asked me to pay more because I wanted 2 colours rather than one. I think they should make that more clear on purchase.
