Gloss

Completely ripped me off!! Went for a consultation with [ ] we sat down and I showed her photos and colours of exactly what I wanted, she explained she would need to run highlights through whole head and tint approx £120. On the day she provided a handful of highlights through top section and a few under the very bottom leaving out the complete middle of my hair, used the wrong shade of tint (even thou I told her 673 was ideal) to which I asked and charged me £118!!!! I politely paid and left £15 tip (£10 for her time and £5 for [ ] who washed and blow dried) only to not embarrass her or colleague in front of other customers, but immediately rang asking her to call me when she’d finished with her client, so I could discreetly discuss my dissatisfaction but she never even had the courtesy to call me back!! Rude, unprofessional and another hairdresser up her own to boots to think she knows better than the customer, does her own thing instead of listening to what the client wants. Would never go back or recommend to others!!

I have been a regular customer of Gloss since it first opened 6 or 7 years ago. It’s a fantastic salon with friendly and experienced stylists who offer their professional advise. I often like to change my hair style as I get bored quickly and they always help me choose a suitable new style…they really know their stuff!! It’s a friendly yet professional salon and you are always guaranteed to come away with fantastic hair!!

I very much enjoyed my visit to gloss. The staff were very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. As you walk in there you are welcomed by the staff and are offered a complimentary drink (i choose the cappuchino). The staff are very friendly while still maintaining a professional attitude. They did exactly as i asked and were constantly checking that i was happy with what they were doing to my hair. All in all i would definately recommened gloss and will be going back there very soon.
