I had a haircut at this barber today. The staff are not using visors or taking a note of names and phone numbers for track and trace. As result, this barber is not a safe covid environment to have your haircut. When I pointed out that the barber should be wearing a visor he responded that they "do not suit everyone". I said it was a legal requirement and considering they were adding a £3 surcharge to the haircut price for PPE they should all have them. Eventually they found one.

I've been going here to have my haircut for 30 years but never again. It is not Covid safe.

They could learn how to cut hair and be more honest.
I have been there in the past and it was good but I think they must have recently changed owners and barbers as it's terrible now.
I took my son there and they gave him a really bad hair cut (I have added a picture). I told the manager and the barber I wasn't happy and I would take my son around the corner to bonds to have my sons hair re-cut there. They told me Bonds was closed (this was a lie) they also said there was nothing wrong with the hair cut.
I took my son to bonds where they re-cut his hair really well and as always Bonds were polite and professional.
My advice is don't go to the village barbers, there are lots of better alternatives.

We have been using this barber for many years but won't do so again.

Son went for cut today. Hair was badly cut by a rude female barber.

We have always been 100% loyal to this barber but no more.

Seems to be 99% new staff. Where have all the experienced barbers gone. Husband and son used to enjoy chatting with them.

We were charged £15 for 13 year old's hair cut. When I challenged, I was more or less told to like it or lump it that the weekend prices had been put up last month since we last used it.

Son said quite a few of his school mates and their dads are no longer using due to quality of staff.

Whoever is running this operation appears to be taking a very short termist view.

Disappointing

Polite staff, short waiting times, 15 pounds for mens haircut, can get it done slightly cheaper elsewhere but this is definitely fantastic value for money.

Good place for a reasonably priced mens haircut in Blackheath. The wait times aren't too long on Saturdays, and have been shorter during the week in the daytime. The staff are professional and cut my hair exactly how I ask, unlike some places which never cut it short enough. Recommended.
