I totally agree with other costumers who are negative about this salon! The ones that rated it with 10 stars must be friends/family! or they were lucky and had their hair done by the lady who has long dark hair... I had my worst haircut EVER!!! NEVER EVER would go back there! People if u do go there at least do yourselves a favor and ask for that lady to do your hair and not the guy!!!
I was(am) still so upset about my hair :(and now i need to find someone asap to correct the damaged done by them :(
And everyone who is talking about their bad service is RIGHT! They do not talk to you, they go on and on in their own language...u don't even know if they talk about you or what.I just think it's RUDE! And also stayed there for ages...without being at least talked to , which is nothing compared to the result!
WORST EVER! Seriously mean it !

Myself and 5 friends bought the Groupon deal for highlights, treatment and cut and blow dry. when we read the reviews about this salon we all wanted to get a refund as the thought of going there was scary. For some reason and I don't know why, but we never cancelled and I am so glad we never. All 6 of us went on different days and not 1 of us was disappointed. My own experience was fantastic, when I arrived I was greeted and shown straight to a chair, I was offered a drink and then my hairdresser came over to speak to me. She was very friendly and an excellent hairdresser. I was so pleased with my cut and my colour that I will defo be going back there. I am amazed that this salon has received so many bad reviews I truly can not understand why. If my friends were to write reviews then this would be another 5 excellent's to add to my excellent.

Having read these reviews, I think some of you fell over on your way in and may have recieved a concussion after hitting the pavement. I went with my girlfriend (not on a groupon voucher and i didn't travel half the country either). She had a cut and highlights plus some waxing, I had a haircut. We arrived, recieved drinks, and after a 5-10 minute wait, we were seen. The majority of the staff are polish, although unlike some on here, I have no issue with that and they all seemed lovely. One girl (reception and waxing) was English and was equally as nice. Everyone did what they were supposed to and it was an enjoyable experience. Both of us were impressed with our hair/treatments and left more than happy. We will certainly be going back.

I'd like to add to what's been written in previous reviews as some of the comments don't sit right with me. The beauty world has a lot of people from other countries working in it, if you don't like that, ring up, or visit a salon and check if they're to your liking. Don't buy a Groupon thing (whatever that is) and then moan that people are foreign, different cultures work and act differently, so if you're that uptight about it, stay at home. Same as moaning about all the travelling you did. For what you saved on the Groupon, you probably spent on travel so why not just go somewhere local, then you won;t be late for your birthday party, barmitzvah, christmas dinner etc. There's no pleasing some people.

Overall, 9 out of 10, I'll make it a ten if the next visit is as good as the first. But on first impressions, i'm happy enough.

I had the worst experience ever at this salon. On a Groupon deal and wish I had never bought it. My hairdresser was Polish and did not even bother listening to what I wanted done with my hair - I felt bullied into doing what he was suggesting. The manager did not even bother to come and help me even though she spoke English well. The whole experience made me want to cry - I left with the worst haircut and highlights I was massively pressured into getting. Rule number one of being a hairdresser is to LISTEN to what the clients want - not to sit them down and do what you THINK they want. Have never received worst service.

Definitely stay well clear of this place. I arrived at Revive salon for my 4pm appointment at 3:50pm to be told that I had made a mistake and the appointment was at 4:15pm. The receptionist/junior stylist argued with me stating that I was in the wrong, rather than apologising for the mistake and asking if I'd mind waiting. Eventually she apologised and asked me to have a seat. At 4:20pm I hadn't been given any further information and there appeared to only be one stylist looking after 2 other clients. I asked the receptionist/junior stylist how much longer I was likely to wait for, to which she replied that my appointment time would be delayed another 15 mins. I asked her to confirm this with the stylist seeing as he looked extremely busy still with 2 other clients. They then informed me I'd probably have to wait for another hour. As I had evening plans I was unable to wait this long so left.

I am shocked by the appalling customer service experienced in this salon today. It seems obvious that they should have informed me that they were running so late when I first arrived, or they could have even called me earlier to let me know this and give me the opportunity to rebook. In fact I have wasted 3 hours of my time travelling to Ravenscourt Park and back plus the cost of travel, in addition to not having had my hair done! I have been attending hairdressers on a regular basis to have my hair coloured since the age of 16 and have never experienced such awful customer service. I have no desire to go back to Revive at another time and would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. If they can't even manage the appointments system I am not letting near my hair!

Used a Groupon voucher for full head of highlights, conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry. I got a lady called Aga, who did my hair beautifully, she did the colour exactly how I asked and trimmed my hair exactly how I asked. Aga was polite, professional but didn't make any conversation at all while I was there, perhaps its a Polish thing. Parking in the side streets is by meter and its £2.20 per hour, so please be aware if you want to drive there. It cost me £11 in parking fees. My appointment was for 11am and I was seen at 11.25am she apologised for me having to wait and offered me a hot drink.
Originally when I telephoned to make the appointment I did speak to someone who was incredibly rude and I was worried about attending my appointment. Whilst there a customer came in to complain that no-one was answering the phone and she tried 20 times. A member of staff who was working downstairs in the beauty room dealt with her and made an appointment for her but as soon as she left the member of staff was slagging her off in front of me and another client who was seated in the waiting area. Apparently the owner, who is Polish, is in Poland for one month and I wonder if it was her who was rude to me on the phone. Anyway I cannot fault Aga so please ask for her when making your appointment and you won't be disappointed.
Response from jojo beauty therapist
I have no problem with what you say about the salon at all,My only problem is why even mention my boss is polish and you wonder if it was her you spoke to on the phone, unless you no it was her you can't really even say that and also what relevance is it how long she's on holiday for that has nothing to do with customers..you come across very rude towards polish people.

I came here for the Groupon offer of highlights, conditioning treatment and cut, and I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews but decided to go for it anyway. I was not disappointed. I had the girl with the very long dark hair, and she was excellent. She discussed with me the colour of the highlights I wanted (very subtle ash blonde) and expertly foiled me up. I've only ever had all-over bleach before and I was worried about getting a chunky streaky look from highlights but they are very fine and as non-stripy as it's possible to get. The conditioning treatment has left my hair in a much better state than when I have used bleach previously (though that was all over so I can't really compare) and afterwards I got a very nice haircut and blowdry to finish it off. The hairdresser was really polite, and got me a drink at the start and a pile of magazines to read while my hair developed and overall I was really happy. I'm not normally one to post reviews but I really think that from my experience this salon deserves a higher rating, and I don't want other Groupon-ers to be worried!

I bought a voucher from groupon for a colour, cut, wash & blow dry. My appointment was @ 1, I left @ 5:30. Naturally I'm brunette and I wanted 2 go blonde. We had our consultation and I told the lady that my hair would probably need pre-lightening as I'm quite dark. She completely ignored me and slapped on the colour she wanted. I studied hairdressing so I kind of know what I'm talking about. After about 30 mins they rinsed the colour off and my roots were bright blonde and my ends (ends being from chin to my bum) were still brown. She then said to me it was bcoz I had colour on my ends why it had gone like this and I said I know which is why I said pre lighten it. She then suggested cutting my hair into a bob 2 get rid of the brown. I suggested matching my roots with the ends (so going back to brown). She agreed to this but said this would mean I can't have the cut and blow dry. (Not that I wanted it after that but is that not what I paid for)??? All the time I was in the chair the other stylists kept looking over and whispering about me. I burst into tears I was so upset with the service. She put the brown on and the boss rinsed my hair off and rough dried it. She didn't rinse all the product out properly though so my hair was stiff and I had colour all over my forehead. Inevitably I paid for my hair to be coloured wrongly and corrected with no cut or proper blow dry and I had 2 come and wash my hair again anyway as the product wasn't rinsed out properly.

The worst service I have ever experienced anywhere.

I was in revive a few days ago for highlights and at the same time had a manicure. My first thought was how nice the salon looked very bright and stylish,It was very busy but straight away I thought that's a good sign "I'd rather get my hair done in a busy place then somewhere that was dead". The staff could not have been nicer to me the customer care was EXCELLENT after a little wait with a cup of tea they took me over to start my hair and nails. I had a lovely chat with the hairdresser and therapist they were lovely girls and after being there a few hours my hair look amazing when finshed she took her time and paid attention to every detail of my hair,My nails were also perfect a lovely red colour. This place is excellent will 100% be going back so glad I found it so EVERYONE GET DOWN TO REVIVE.

Revive Hair Salon, Hammersmith:
On Saturday I went to this salon to use a voucher for cut, highlights and treatment I got through Groupon. The service was APPALLING! I've been getting highlights for 14 years, they usually take approx 2hr 15- 2hr 30. I was at this salon over 5 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!! After arriving there, no one served me at all within the first hour, I was just left sitting in a chair. When I went to ask what was going on, I was told soon.......... but in the end they didnt even start my hair until 1.5 hours after I arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The male hairdresser didnt speak at all except to say ONE word "blonde?" and wander off to get the colour. And was uninterested when I tried to say how I like my hair done. He didnt speak throughout and I wonder if he spoke english. Even when he finished my highlights he just wandered off, didnt speak or say how long or anything!! Not once did ANYONE apologise about the waits. There was no friendly service, not even the offer of a glass of water. After my hair was finally coloured, one girl put the treatment in then wandered off, again no word of how long. After about half an hour over the basin I had a killer neck and sat up to figure out what was going on. Someone finally took the treatment out and put me in a chair to await my cut - I waited another half hour. Not once did anyone apologise, I was two hours late to my OWN 30th birthday party but there was nothing I could do in the middle of it all! I told the male hairdresser when I left about being two hours late to my own birthday party - he just said "ok" and wandered off.
This was the worst service I've ever had from hairdressers in my life - avoid at all costs!
