I bought a Groupon voucher for facial/deep tissue/indian head massage and consultation- at great reduction at Shymala Ayurveda Spa. The place was clean but the massage was irritatingly wear (despite telling her twice to go deeper esp. in my shoulder). The head massage was no more than a gentle application of oil into my hair- more annoying than anything.There was no facial. And no consultation, which I was a bit relieved about as I suspect it may have been just a push to sell product.
I now wonder if they were sloppy because the service was a Groupon purchase. I'll try Groupon spa vouchers two more times and see. Otherwise I'll just go back to good old Thai Massage on Earl's Court for a great massage for £45!
