Jermyn Street is home to many great shops to buy men's clothing, so there is a lot of competition. I have visited Herbie Frogg a few times and I consistently received poor service. It is unfortunate because some of the clothes are acceptable, particularly for the price. However, it is not worth a visit given the poor treatment from staff you are likely to receive, which is likely why they now have signs indicating they are closing down... let's hope a better shop takes its place.

Just wanted to let you know about a rude encounter I experienced at the Herbie Frogg 18/19 Jermyn Store today.
I had just purchased a few ties at your 21 Jermyn store with a covered cup of coffee in my hand. When I went into the 18/19 store I was asked to leave the coffee aside ... not that politely - to which I said I would just leave, slightly irate at myself for the lack of judgment and at the store clerk for his less than delicate approach. Then the individual began to lecture me about how terrible it was to bring a cup of coffee in the store.
I told him I did not think it necessary as I was leaving and he did not need to berate me. He told me I gave him a look. I assured him I would not be returning. He told me that he welcomed the decision.
I am pleased that the store has the luxury to offend its customers is willing to forgo friends and family as customers.
