I wanted a hat and found this gem of a store where i found an eclectic mix of merchandise including canes, clothes and of course, hats. This little store is well worth a visit. I was greeted by a slightly eccentric but highly knowledgeable proprietor who kitted me out perfectly....and all at reasonable prices.
I arrived late afternoon and was concerned about his closing times but absolutely not, he remains open till late most days....a great find and well recommended.

Le monde is a wonderful idiosyncratic unexpected shopping delight from the outside things look chaotic from the inside things are chaotic A quirky stock policy fills the store with an impressive range of affordable hats, caps, second-hand canes and other paraphernalia including a indescribable collection of close, some of which are modelled on past of their best mannequins
That said La monde often throws up the odd surprise fashion buy,albeit that thing that you did not even know you're looking for. Worth taking a look and having a root around and authentic testament to independent owner led trading.

Hello.
My experience with Le Monde was really awful.
I relied in the clerk and he sold me a cap the triple than in other shops in London. THE TRIPLE, it's no a joke.
When I went there for giving back the cap, that has been bought two days before and it was unused yet, with the labels hanged and in a perfect mood, he deny to pay me back. But first said to me that he can´t because the sale was in the "electronic acounting", as if I was stupid. Just this is for getting angry.
When he made the sale, he didnt give me other ticket than the receive of the credit card, so I can't claim now, because it do not have the trade conditions. But I didnt know this because Im not English. In other countries it do not woks that way.
I highly recommend not to buy there
