I love this shop both for the clothing and the textiles. The variety is endless, and the mix between elegant and original clothing, jewellery, and scarves makes each visit a special one. In all honesty, at Maharani I learned what a scarf can do for an outfit. It can make a casual outfit look more sophisticated, or make a one coloured blazer stand out. Besides the clothing they offer decorations for the home. Pieces come from all over India and nearly each one has a story behind it either sewn onto it, or a personal one. For example, there are these amazing tapestries called bagh. One of them is particularly special because the images sewn onto the fabric have a narrative. Maharani is a great place to browse around, and try a new style.
