What a shame- I came across this forum while I was desperately trying to google anything to do with Arrogant Cat, trying to find a way to get hold of someone! I've now found out that apparently the company has gone into administration, which would appear to be the reason £58 of my hard earned money has disappeared into thin air!
From what I can see there is a large amount of people who have been fleeced out of their cash after buying online- yet the company still sees fit to operate in stores has the cheek to continue making money?! What a disgrace, I am absolutely disgusted with this company! It seems as though my only hope of getting my money back is to ask very nicely at my bank; however, I would encourage everyone to get onto Trading Standards about Arrogant Cat- they don't deserve to continue lining their own pockets!

At the beginning of November 2010 I ordered a pair of leggings from a company called arrogant-cat that Cher Lloyd was wearing in the finale of the xfactor, the leggings cost me £58.00 and £6.00 p&p, I didn’t receive the leggings until 3weeks later, however once they arrived they were extremely faulty and therefore was not fit for the purpose made known.

I checked on the website to read the returns policy and needed a returns code, I then emailed the company asking for the returns code and did not receive any sort of reply to them, I rang the shop numerous times asking to speak with the manager named (Talya) I was told every time I called that she wasn’t there and they took my details saying that she would contact me back , I never heard anything on the off chance I called one day and it just so happened that the manager (Talya) answered the telephone I complained about not receiving my returns code and told her that I was going to trading standards and she immediately gave me my code and told me as soon as she received the leggings she would refund my money back to my account.

Now 3 months on I still have not heard anything I’ve sent numerous emails and letters to the shop and have had no response, I have left messages with the girls that work in the shop and the manager still hasn’t contacted me, I contacted trading standards who claim that they are doing their best but I feel that they could be doing more. Also I sent the leggings back via recorded delivery which were signed for by Talya on 06/01/2011 at 17.13pm.

I have now seen on a website numerous reviews about Arrogant Cat and their service and it seems that the same has been happening to other people.

I hope someone can help me resolve this matter as soon as possible as I am extremely upset about this

So I went to the shop G P street shop and was told that Maria would do my refund for me on the Monday 28.2.2011; Still nothing; I went to the shop on Thursday of last week and guess what? ITS CLOSED for refurbishment which is a lie its gone into ADMINISTRATION: I checked the website last week and you were still able to order but now it just shows their logo: I have informed trading standards and they informed me that I could maybe try getting a charge back from my bank but it’s down to their discretion

I have had the exact same problem. I ordered a coat/dress off Arrogant Cat in January and the website said to leave 10 working days for delivery. It is now March and it still has not arrived and the money left my account over a month ago.
I've tried calling, but it goes straight to answer phone and have emailed but still no reply. I don't know what else to do! Never ever order from Arrogant Cat!

I ordered a £159 dress from their website believeing if the dress was not suitable i would be able to return it for a refund as this is what they state on their website. I followed the returns procedures on their website and what came with the garment, i contacted them by mail on the day of receieving the parcel asking for a returns number, 3 weeks later i still had not been issued with one. I called Portland Street about 6 times asking to speak to Maria who deals with returns, each time she was with a customer, wouldnt let me hold for her, she never called me back. I decided to return the parcel without a returns number and try to process a chargeback through my bank, my bank wrote back saying that if i had not received the goods they could charge it back but cannot take judgement on returns. The Arrogant Cat website says they will refund you your money within 30 days of returning item however its been around 2 months and no refund. Im going to contact Trading Standards and citicens advice bureau. I may also see if i can file a CCJ against them out of principle of what they have done and the stress they have caused me.

WHAT EVER U DO NEVER BUY OFF THE WEBSITE BELIEVEING YOU WILL GET A REFUND IF YOUR NOT SATISFIED, BECAUSE EVERY ONE IN THIS FORUM SUGGESTS THAT YOU WONT!!

I have experienced the exact same problem. Ordered the leggings back in November - they arrived faulty so contacted Arrogant Cat the very next day. After 2.5 weeks of emails and calls with no response i was eventually advised to post them back for a full refund (they offer a collection service for faulty goods but dont deliver on this either). I was promised a free voucher for my troubles - that never arrived.

Since mid December when i returned my leggings - no refund !! I have emailed them countless times. No response. I have called them countless times. No response. No one pics up the phone. You cant leave a voicemail. On the 2 occasions i got through on the phone, i left all my details to be contacted by the manager - nothing. I physically went into the shop with all my paperwork - i was promised i would be refunded that day when the manager returned to the office - nothing. I have sent a registered letter - no response.

I have since reported them to Consumer Direct. They advised sending a registered letter - but i did that and it didnt help. They also advised of a chargeback scheme that your bank may offer. My bank had just refunded my money. I had to fill out a 'claim' form with all my details and supporting documents too. Contact your bank !

But please advise anyone and everyone you know - never ever ever to purchase from this retailer !!!!

this company is an absolute joke!!
i ordered there leggings from there website its been 5 weeks and still nothing, no body answers any of there phones headoffice just rings and rings, ive tried every extention....please leave a message...mailbox full... thats all that happens,
ive sent emails etc and still nothing.

ive spoke to one of the girls in the store and she has pasted my details on to the manager 6 times now and still have heard nothing.
there seems to be one manager "maria" who does not contact you back or answer the phone,
its so frustrating, im going to go up to the great portland store tomorrow to get this sorted and talk to someone face to face.

my advice is DO NOT ORDER FROM ARROGANT CAT

I have experienced similar behaviour. Ordered the same leggings seen on cher llyod in xfactor and the money has been taken out of my account. I have not received them after nearly 3 months. Tried to contact Arrogant Cat head office via phone, written letters and email with zero success. I have spoken to 3 different London stores - none of them have a clue what goes on at the Great Portland Street store and apparently alot of people have been having problems since Christmas. I have now attempted to cancel my order under the United Kingdoms Distance Selling Regulations, and have not yet heard anything, unsurprisingly. No idea what to do - just hope Arrogant Cat has been reported to Trading Standards. They are an abombinable organisation and I would advise anyone not to shop there.

While visiting London on 13th Dec I paid for a Coat in Arrogant Cat Gt Portland St. They told me they would send it on as they had to order it, and I would have it for Christmas. It never arrived. I called the Shop lots of times but no one answers their 7 extentions and there is no message space to leave a message. Eventually I got to speak to a manager who appologised for the delay and promised to send me the Jacket right away. It never arrived. I emailed her 3 times in a week and I have left about 6 messages with staff asking her to phone me. She didnt bother. I have had no explanation why the jacket didnt arrive or no offer to return my money. They appear to be a big concern but the staff say they only know of one manager who looks after all the stores in London. None of the staff know who owns the company, and there is no one to contact above this one manager. I have hit a brick wall and would appreciate some advice if any one has any.
