Alexander Boyd

I live just off Brick lane and have been getting shirts from Alexanda Boyd for about 5 yrs-my father also buys all his shirts here. They supply a variety of cuts and collar styles, all very good quality - I also had a silk shirt tailor made for me which was spot on. Never found the owner to be anything but gracious- the staff are very friendly and the premises tastful. When you look at who they supply shirts for.. then they are actually very good value. Just wished their socks lasted a little longer..or maybe its just my big toe destroys socks.

niche business, good quality products but overpriced for this competitive market, for someone who only came into the business a few years back, has learned quickly,the owner can be pompous and gives his entertaining anecdotes on other traders, this should be disregarded due too his short history in the trade, but he acquired an old established company who have had a good reputation, so ignore his shortcomings and pay a visit, the occasional sale can provide some bargains.
