A fantastic shop for children's shoes. I have used this store for over 10 years for my 3 kids. All have very wide feet and there has only been one occasion when they didn't have shoes for me; so they just ordered them in. Very well qualified staff and run extremely well and with service in mind.
I can't praise them enough.

Stepping Out is an independent children's shoe shop located on Pitshanger Lane (on the E2 and E9 bus routes). Although predominantly a children's shoeshop, Stepping Out also stocks a wide range of children's toys, as well as selected items of children's clothing and accessories, and ladies' shoes and accessories.
The inclusion of a children's train set and fish tank for the children to play with and ogle at makes shopping here a desirable experience. The staff are knowledgable, and the shop is on the Children's Foot Healthcare Register which means many hospitals and podiatrists refer their patients to Caroline and her team.
Shoes range from pram shoes and pre-walkers to adult size 12s, and many shoes are available in a variety of width fittings. On the unlikely occassion that the shop doesn't have what you're looking for, Stepping Out is able to find or order an alternative which arrives quickly.
Stepping Out really is a one-stop-shop catering to all your wellies, school shoes, party shoes, sandals, trainers and plimsole needs (AND your jewellery, whoopee cushion and MBT wants!)
