I find this shop to be very good I went in for a repair on my bracelet the service was great did it the same day I will return for any repairs I need.

The jewellery is lovely but the staff need a lot of training, I went in to ask about selling my 18 ct gold chain and was told by the young lady that it was 9 ct . I went outside the market and sold it to a jewellery shop. It was indeed 18 ct gold hallmarked and not 9 ct like the lady had told me
So beware shop around first if your selling your gold jewellery.

I went back to this shop after moving away from the area for over ten years and the staff are still the same very warm hearted and honest. I recommend everyone to go there you will be amazed at the amount of lovely jewellery they have in store.

I went with my mum to get a rolex ring for me and my brother and my other brother got a graduation rong thought only one member of staff was nice the rest were rude the man who showed us the rings was so nice to us gave us a deal and everything it was for our birthdays

2 weeks ago I brought a pair of gold hoop earrings I was quoted 180 however, when I went back 2weeks later I was told they was 290pound the man told me he would do for 250 so stupidly I accepted. When I got them home and examained the earrings they are clearly second hand! Which I was not told! They are covered in small scrathes and dents and have a dodgy clasp on one! The man was rude and had a disgusting attitude! I have been totally ripped off! myself friends/family will never go to this shop again! Gold n image is the worst jewellers in east london!!!

I find the staff in this shop to be rude and slow
My repair for my bracelet was estimated at £60
The bracelet only cost me £35
The lady told me that's the price take it or go away

I note from the last two posative reviews on Gold-n-Image that both reviews have taken a negative view of their competition i.e. The Jewel Box I must say i have been to both shops and found the services in both to be extremely different the service at Golden n Image is very much like a supermarket with no real one to one service where as The Jewel Box a few doors along is a lovely family run shop with a good one to one service and has been in business for over 27years. I think that both shops cater for different people in the area Gold n Image tends to cater more for the youth of today where as the compition cater more for the local community

I have been a customer of this shop for many years and I feel this is the only jewellers in Roman Road that has such a wide range of choice compared to the jewellers Jewel Box a couple of doors away which looks like a cross between a jewellers and a pound store.

I have never had any problems with the staff they have always been polite and curtious.

I really disagree with the other comments, gold n image has been established for many years and provides a excellent service for all customers!

With regards to how much you spend really does not apply, the service and treatment of the stuff are excellent regardless!!!

The price range varies from low to expensive, depending on how much YOU WANT TO SPEND! I have brought so much gold from this shop and have had value for money.

Come on people the gold prices have gone up, be more realistic.

Yes very rude and also very slow staff I think if you are spending over £1000 then you will get a welcome but I went in to look for a chain
And it was £125 the staff did not want to sell me one but took out chains for £500 +
The lady told me to save a bit more money and come back (very rude)

i also have to agree with what as been said about this jewellery shop on roman road in east london the staff are rude and i will not return to this shop why should i after being spoken to by rude staff and told to "go away and never come back" this was due to a broken charm bracelet that i returned back to the shop after a few days
after 20 mins i was given my refund and told to never return and to get out of the shop? i went a few doors along and bought a new bracelet and i am very happy with it

Sorry but the overall service at this store was not very good the store is bright and the windows have a lot of jewellery (maybe a little to much to see what is in the window) but without the service it is below par for me
