This is an absolutely brilliant jewellery shop. As well as their top-of-the-range pieces, they also do a wide range of second-hand jewellery at very reasonable prices. I have bought some truly beautiful second-hand rings from them - with real gems such as rubies - not cubic zirconia. If only they were in a location deserving of their classiness and excellence of service. That end of George Street has become a run-down area with many shops closed and boarded up, making it a deserted, potentially dangerous area late afternoon. As a result, this wonderful shop closes at around 3.30pm rather than 5.30pm. If you decide to have a look in there one day, go with a few friends for safety in numbers. It's well-worth a visit; it's a real treasure trove of new and antique jewellery. The proprietors are very friendly too. Sometimes, if they are in a hurry to close, they can be persuaded to knock more off a price. I just love this shop and wish I had time spend a whole afternoon in there. It's particularly good if you love bracelet charms, they have literally hundreds; in silver and gold.

I took some gold into this shop today to sell for scrap, they offered me over £500, prior to this I had sent my gold to one of these companies advertised on television, they offered me £210!!! a massive difference there, these companies advertsie they will pay top price for your gold, they wont they will pay you less than half its value......complete fiddle.
So in short if you have unwanted gold don't waste your time sending it to one of these cowboys from the TV take your gold down to Surrey Goldsmiths in St George's Walk, they are very polite & very helpful,and most of all very fair with their prices!! I would definately recommend them to anyone.
