My rickety 45 year old wristwatch is still going strong. I have been to Henry Hallpike for all of that time. They have done one or two things to it and it continues to keep perfect time - so much so that I alter my other timepieces from it. Go there also for new straps and batteries from time to time. Really enjoy the experience of this shop. (miss the rather magnificent clock that no longer hangs there)

I visited with two non working old ladies watches. After a quick check over I was given a brief about likely outcomes, possible repairs necessary and costs.
Started work on them immediately and asked to return later in the morning.
On return both working and faces tidied up at very reasonable cost.
The shop is all about service and the customer. A good experience.
