Pronuptia

I bought my gown from Pronuptia South Woodford and hired my grooms mens suits as well, we had a wonderful experience. The service from start to finish was second to none and we were pleased with our outfits. Since we have got married two more of our friends have bought/hired from them on our recommendation and have been very happy. Monica, Woodford Green

Extemely disappointed at the service received at Pronuptia in South Woodford. Staff very pushy, and unhelpful. My daughters' wedding dress was marked, when unwrapped on the morning of the wedding. We rang the shop to tell them about it, but my daughter had to go ahead and wear it, as there was no time to do anything else. Menswear was also very disappointing. My husband had to alter the sleeves of his wedding suit hiself. My son in law had a waistcoat that was to big, and they did not have a smaller one. After the wedding we wrote two letters to Pronuptia to complain, which they completely ignored, and haven't replied to until this day. The wedding was 11th April 2009. I would advise any potential bride and groom to steer well clear of this shop. I am not saying all Pronuptia shops are the same, as I can only speak from my experience as a mother of the bride at the service received at the South Woodford Branch.
