House of Cashmere has the most beautiful selection of cashmere goods - this shop is well worth visiting and is a great place to find gifts. I bought a selection of scarves, shawls and sweaters for myself and for friends and the prices were very fair given the wonderful quality. A friend recommended it to me and I'm glad I followed her advice. I will definitely return next time I'm in London.

I also not received the tax free refund (VAT) and had no respond after I wrote to House of Cashmere. It looks like the small shop in London will promise you that you will have 15% or more tax refund but it is not the case.

If you are a foreign traveler, please don't expect you will receive VAT.

I made a purchase at House of Cashmere in London in April 4,2009. I have been waiting for almost 2 months. I still haven't received the tax free refund back to my credit card. The rest of the tax free refund from the other merchants already posted to my credit card account.

Whoever expecting tax free refund might need to aware the tax refund will never happen even the merchant provide you the tax refund form. I have been trying to contact this merchant for few days by email and no respond.

If the merchant doesn't honest the tax free refund, I am not sure how good the quality of the product that I bought it from them. Good luck.
