New To You

I love charity shops and "New to you" in cricklewood was one I used to like and buy in, too. Today, unfortunately I have experienced really bad service leading to discrimination in this store. Someone must have put a prize on the goods I wanted to buy that he did not appreciate, but he sold it to me, since the item was tagged with that prize, but refused to sell me another good, that did not have a price tag, unless I wanted to pay almost 4 times as much as it was worth to balance out that I paid less than he would have wanted for the other items. I was willing to pay a bit more, but tried to get the prize down one pound. This ended with him shouting "forget it!" at me, instead of just saying no. Trying to grab the items I have already paid for, telling me to "Get out" and "Go back to my country. He knew I was not originally from Britain because we had a (then very nice) chat about it earlier.
There is another charity shop next to it, and another one on the other side of the road where you are treated nicely. If you don't want to experience racism and rudeness, mind this store.
