i have know tony the proprierter since he sold models from the warehouse and got to now own a shop. he is a great guy always happy to help, all the staff get to know you and treat you as part of the family, which can be rare these days.
i have always brought my Japanise models & sci fi kits from him as they are always cheaper than Forbidden planet (sorry to name drop) although its best to know both shops incase you get a bargain for the latter.
comet does have the odd and unusual if you want that something different. having said that i've heard from sci fi advents that he doesnt sell the latest manga/japan gundam kits (which may be true) i dont go there as much as i used to (i went every saturday) as i look for/and want the latest bandai kits, but as for starwars & other monster models/space kits & figures he has them all and before other shops get there stock if you cant wait. when he does bargains there usually great price drops (i've come out with bags full of stuff) its easy to get to (by bus -452- around the corner or the -295- and a short walk is cheapest method) or the -77- right near the door. if you've never been, then go you might be missing something you didnt know existed in model kit form.
