Friendly store manager but tourist products are faulty. I bought 9 fridge magnets which don't even stick to my whiteboard, never mind the fridge - I think the display board in the shop must be made of a magnet itself. I've got nowhere to put them now so might as well chuck them.

My mother bought two beautiful Big Ben clocks and when she got home she discovered the clocks wouldn't work. Although the store manager is going to send her replacements I feel sorry for those tourists who only find out about their faulty products when they return home overseas.

It's a shame that London allows it's reputation to be ruined by these newsagents which obviously get their cheap junk products from Asia.

TOURISTS BEWARE!
I went inside and saw an item that I liked. The large price label on the item said "£1.99 each or 7 for £10"
I got out a £10 note and asked for 7 of them.
The man who ran the shop must have thought I was a gullible tourist because he suddenly announced that the
price was now £2.99 per item!
When I pointed to the sign which clearly said 7 for £10 he ignored it like it didn't exit and insisted that the price was now £2.99 per item.
Naturally I walked out - but I recommend that you don't ever go in.
