The Paper Shop

Absolutely a jewel in the local community; the shop that also provides a friendly and professional service, as well as contributing to a sense of community locally. Sadly, I learnt they are closing down very soon after many, many years being a part of Bloomsbury. I understand their business suffered throughout the pandemic and they needed some support and a bit of flexibility from the freeholder which was not forthcoming. Such a shame and loss.
It seems that after decades of hard work there is no will to support the local business and that is ok and tolerated?

The Paper Shop 82 Southampton Row WC1B 4BB is the only Newsagent in Central London,papers&mags of all kinds,a fine varired choice of greeting cards,a great amount of different inflatable helium balloons,all types of vaping systems,refreshments of all kind and wonderful staff who are helpful and kind.I have gone there for over 20 years and am so pleased that they are still in business through the COVID 19.

I've been to this shop now and then for several years. The owners have always given very polite service and been extremely professional. There's a vast range of stock but all arranged perfectly. They even offer photocopying, which is becoming a rarity nowadays. This is one of the jewels of Bloomsbury.

Fabulous service! Friendly polite and extremely helpful staff! We left our cases there and the service I received was faultless, both on the phone and face to face! Can’t recommend them highly enough ❤️

Went to the shop yesterday on way to a hen do to pick up some balloons. They were brilliant and so helpful. Put the helium in and tied them up for us and helped us into the taxi. This shop offers so many services, a real gem in the middle of London! Thank you!
