I always support local business. But after several bad experiences with the male front person I decided to post a public review/complaint about the rude attitude towards costumers and continued lack of support with anything related with sending/receiving an UPS package.
Sadly, I haven’t the only one here and I wonder if there’s another way to change this situation.

It doesn’t surprise me that this store has such a low rating, or to see that the complaints are about the man who runs it. I try to support local independent businesses, and have overlooked the man’s generally grumpy behaviour in the past, but during my last two visits he made me feel really uncomfortable with his passive aggression. I tried to talk to him about it and he didn’t want to know. I will avoid this shop in future.

Oh dear! UPS parcel delivered here took 7 visits both by myself and my kind neighbour with correct ID, when I was unable, to persuade them to hand it over. Very uncooperative, rude and I finally managed to collect my parcel shortly before it was to be collected and returned to UPS after 10 days.

As others have mentioned this quality of service in this shop is appalling. I like to think I've a positive outlook on life and have been willing to overlook the shopkeeper's general grumpy and dismissive attitude until now. However on my last visit he managed to excel himself and was on the border of shouting at me. After 18 months of Covid lockdowns I would have thought that he's welcome customers in with open arms. Sadly I won't be returning to this shop until it is under new management or ever other shop within 10 miles has shut down.

I needed to dispatch an Amazon Return here. Man was rude, abrupt and impatient. I needed to stick a further customs form to my parcel and he couldn’t even offer a piece sellotape to help me instead motioning to a £3 roll to purchase so I could do this. He seemed resentful to offer this service. He was rude to other customers, snapping at a man who had a tiny well behaved dog ‘NO DOGS IN HERE’ - honestly, he’s lucky anyone goes into this scruffy dusty hostile shop at all. I’ll choose a different location for Amazon returns next time.

Appalling. Incredibly rude and particularly to female staff. Not willing to help and just says it’s up to the ‘boss man’ but he can never tell me when the ‘boss man’ will be in. Plenty of newsagents in the area so I’d avoid here at all costs.

Absolutely the worst shop. Dirty and tatty. Rude and surly service. I have tried supporting this local business but he just does not give a damn. Hates children, despite selling children's toys. Ruder to my wife than he is to me, which suggests he respects female customers even less than he respects male customers. If he wants to survive in Southfields then he's going to have to have a complete shift in attitude. Complete boycott from my family.

Male owner is extremely rude, I’m not sure how the place is still open. He needs to think about his customer service. I wouldn’t recommend.

Handy selection of stationery for a local shop, and quite a few kids toys gift options, along with the usual cards and magazines you'd expect. They also have a selection of balloons which they can fill with helium which was great for my son's birthday as they're a local high street shop I didn't need to walk far with a jumbo number 2 balloon!!
