I needed my shoes heeled urgently as I needed them to wear after the bank holiday. I was told the shop would definitely be open until 6 pm so I could pick them up any time before then. I arrived at 5.40 and the shop was shut. So I didn't have the shoes I needed for the event. Just to warn people!

Good at general shoe repairs
Eg (Heeling/zips on shoes etc.)
Never used key cutting service.
Heeling is pricey.
No visable Price list?
Customer service not great.
Can come across as rude.
Needs to work on his overall attitude towards his customers.
We were very disappointed upon our last visit, have taken our custom elsewhere as a result. :-(

The guy made a mistake and forgot to put a protective sole on my girlfriend’s shoes. In order cover his mistake he wanted to charge me more than what he initially quoted which is what I had on my deposit receipt. He was very rude and abusive when pointed out the fact that it was his fault and he is asking for more money for incomplete works. Upon trying the other cobblers only a few shops down I noticed his prices are higher for a worse quality of works.

I got a key cut there recently. Keys are not the exact copies of the original one and do not work smoothly in the lock.
Keys also have lots of scratches and overall job looks terrible.
I guess you could do a better job at home with a file.
