We have been using this shoe repair shop in Balham Station for many years. Danny is always pleasant, helpful and - important - honest about what is possible for a tricky mend. As well as more straightforward shoe repairs and key cutting, Danny did a great job on my line dancing boots, advised what to do with the heels of my ballroom shoes, so I stopped skidding. He will order me shoe cream that is now difficult to find elsewhere. They deserve plenty of custom and it is hard nowadays to find a decent, 'old style' cobbler.

Just took my favourite R&B ankle boots for some much needed reheeling - went to pick them up and was astonished how amazing they looked - almost brand new - they had done a beautiful job!

Not sure what happened to the other reviewer or who you saw but again (think there was a chap there who wasn't pleasant and has since left!)

Recommend these guys - funny, professional, and some of the best work in the city - I've been to a few other cobblers and they don't touch 'em! These guys are not expensive or overpriced at all for the incredible work they do - was sooo happy I gave them a well deserved tip - and it is Christmas!

Whatever you need no matter what it is - Danny will fix, shine and renew your shoes/boots beautifully! Danny is the master shoemaker!!!!!

Kind, helpful and always honest - you won't get any bullshit from Danny and he'll throw in a few jokes to boot!!!!

Customer service not good.

Expensive for the poor work.

Bad attitude towards customers.

Will never go there again and wouldn't recommend at all.
