This post office is unhelpfully only open until 12.30pm on a Saturday ie the only day most people don't work. The staff are known locally for being unfriendly and unhelpful.

This is the absolute worst service I have ever had in a post office and sadly it is not a one off. Every time I go in there both members of staff are rude, utterly unhelpful and miserable. They seem to hate their customers and do everything they can to make your visit unpleasant. I work at Charing Cross Hospital so this is my closest post office but I would rather walk 30mins out of my way then go back there again.

Must be desperate to use their services!

Working in the area temporarily and this happens to be the most convenient location of Post Office for me. It's amazing to see that the staff and more importantly their attitude has not changed since the first review on this website in 2009.

The PO is run by what seems like a very grumpy and rude middle aged man and his rather cantankerous older relative/sidekick! Rude, obnoxious, never a service with a smile and on one occasion physically pushed out of the PO by the older man at 1655 being told it is closed when the door was open and customers were still being served!

Still have used them since today but only out of sheer desperation! The same unfriendly expression, no please no thank you despite me being overtly polite to win some sort of respect.

I wonder if they'd at least twitch a 'smile' muscle if they won the lottery but I'd bet the same money they wouldn't!

I can't tell if the men who work here are deliberately obstructive/ difficult or if they just can't help being rude. If you ask a question the most you'll get is a grunt. Over the years have seen many people get stressed and upset at the treatment they have had from the two guys. Not a nice place to go - avoid it unless in an emergency! Royal Mail could do with investing in a training course in basic customer services/ politeness!!!

I have decided to stop using this post office after continued rude service eventually became bad service - I had a bunch of mail returned to me this week saying there wasn't enough postage, when in fact the guys at this branch had hurriedly weighed and stamped the mail, acting irritated the entire time. It's one thing if you're rude to me and my child when we've been nothing but polite and patient, but it's quite another when you're not even able to do the one job you are there to do - weighing, stamping, & safely sending mail. Avoid this branch at all costs; it's worth the walk to Hamm

This is an emergency only post office! Please do not go there if you need help or advice on postage etc - they either do not know or do not care. I was overcharged by £8.50 because the manager did not process the address label correctly. Every time I've been there they have been rude - also the place is a dirty dump. Save yourself the hassle and go into Hammersmtih PostOffice.

The manager of the shop is okay. However the older employee is very kind and helpful. Once we saw there two grandaughters of the older one in the shop. They were very nice and helpful I would love to see them again.

The younger employee is okay, however the older employee is very kind and helpful. Once his grandaughters came in, the were very helpful to us more than the manager i would love to see them again in the shop.

The manager of the post office was very rude and belittled me infrot of other customers for no reason. He did not show any insight that he was being rude and offensive. I am disgusted that this is happening and feel thjat this gentleman should be dealt with

I too agree that the Customer Service aspect is missing from this Post Office. It is a shame as they really do seem like they don't want to be there every single time I use this service! I too don't want to lose this Post Office as it is in an ideal location, but please gentlemen who serve there, Smile! If you don't know the answer to queries, at least be polite in your response.

It cost nothing to be polite :-)

Certainly wouldn't want to lose this post office as it's in a very convenient location ....... BUT....... the two men that work behind the counter are unbelievably unhelpful/rude. They seem annoyed if you ask any postal questions and really don't want to help or assist their customers in anyway. I always walk away feeling annoyed by their absolute indifference to the job and their absolute lack of simple politeness. Really very bad service for what should be a local friendly post office.

I would agree, there are quite rude here, no customer service skills, they have a "cannot be bothered" attitude.

No customer service skills at all in this post office. Almost rude.
