I always use this Post Office. The staff are always so courteous and helpful and there is always someone to help and advise if I have a problem. The waiting area is very pleasant, although I very rarely have to wait and the range of services that's offered is very good. Anything that I post from here also seems to arrive far quicker than from other branches. All the staff actually look as though they enjoy working here so Well Done To All Of You and Thank You for making my visits to your branch such a positive experience!

this is probably the most modern post office i have ever seen, both in the design and services offered.

Like the previous reviewer I had the utter misfortune to use this post office. It is a total shambles. Several customers who had entered after me were seen before me all due to their new number system. It is a stupid system which seems to have no logic to it whatsoever. Depending on what you're in the post office for will determine when you're seen by a member of staff and you could be waiting for absolutely ages and see people who came in after you get served before you. What an utter shambles. The member of staff I eventually got served by was apologetic about the service but declined to comment further. When I got to speak with the manager about the dreadful service offered in his post office he suggested I visit another post office in future. He was extremely rude and couldn't have cared less. He said the post office was working just fine even though he could clearly see that it wasn't. This post office is to be avoided AT ALL COST. An utter shambles with a most difficult, uncaring and rude manager. I will take his advice though, I WILL visit any other post office but this one!

I had the misfortune to visit the postoffice in Croydon High Street. The new number system does not work, as not enough counters dealing with counter service. It is not nessesary to have 2 counters for Lotto, and 4 for foreighn exchange. While half of the staff was sitting there doing nothing, the 3 remaining staff for the counter service wasted a lot of time calling out numbers of customers who left frustrated and searching for a different post-office. It was good on the socialising part as we all started talking about what nuisence this service is, and how to get the manager and giving him an "ear-full". I've spend more then 50 minutes waiting for a 3 minute service. Even the staff was unsatisfied with the new system, and agreed that this does not work. The idea of taking a number is not bad, but then there should be only one foreign exchange, the lotto in the little shop, the vehicle-tax at an info stand, and the other counters for the counter service. The waiting time should not exide 15 min, as the longest I've ever waited in line with the old system was 20 min at peakhour.
