Shop staff are friendly, service generally quick, to a good standard, and reasonably priced. However, disagree with other comments regarding efficiency. My shirts for dry cleaning have been lost on 3 occasions. Twice it's taken over a week to locate the lost shirt and return it. On the third occasion the shirt returned was completely the wrong size so not even mine. Still waiting 2 weeks later for the correct shirt to be located and a catalogue of disasters from the shop misplacing the shirt in the first place, to the delivery driver misplacing a whole bunch of shirts. Don't think you'll get a positive customer focused response from the manager either. He's rude, doesn't respond to text messages, and barely responds to calls unless he's had a missed call. He talks over you when you finally make contact, will think you're making a fuss about nothing and put the phone down on you when you challenge him 'because he hasn't got time'. Processes in place are weak and need improving, but there's no appetite to change/improve. Use at your own risk or find somewhere else...as I will now do...

Shame there is no zero or negative option. I was a longtime customer - i.e. weekly, for years - with no problems. I left 3 work dresses for dry cleaning and they were very obviously washed instead. All 3 shrank so that they were unwearable and the colour changed slightly. The owner was rude and aggressive and refused compensation or even to refund the amount I had paid for the dry-cleaning (which wasn't done). He offered to re-wash and then stretch them out. (!!!) This clearly doesn't work with fabrics which should never have been washed in the first place. They are cash-only, no receipts so clearly not interested in operating a legitimate business. The last time I went in another customer was there because they had lost 6 dress shirts. Unprofessional, rude and they will destroy your clothing.

This company destroyed my suit and basically have shown zero remorse for doing so. Furthermore, when pressed as to what they intend to do about it you get nothing but obfuscation. Take your dry cleaning requirements to another business as these people will do nothing for you. I will be challenging them in court.

I only take straightforward clothes in but the always do a very good job, are friendly chaps, and it's cheap!

Regent dry cleaners have ruined my beautiful £90 dress.

I took the dress in having worn it only once. It was in perfect condition but I just wanted to freshen it up before I wore it again.

The dress is linen and has blocks of red, black and white material. After "dry cleaning" the red and black blocks have faded in colour and the white block looks light grey with darker grey marks all over it. Strangely the marks seem to be in a sort of pattern as though the coloured pattern from something has imprinted its pattern on my dress. The texture of the material has also changed.

I believe this dress has been wet washed with something darker. I could forgive an accident but I feel the damage done to my dress could not have happened if the dress had been genuinely dry cleaned.

I intend to complain to trading standards.

Worst dry cleaning service ever!!I bought my son a retro hand made suit. Regent Dry Cleaners managed to shrink the trousers by two sizes and it seemed quite obvious water had been used on them. They denied this and attmepted to stretch the trousers back to their original size, causing the seams to split. Although the trousers are ruined, all I asked for was the £5.40 cost of cleaning to be given back to me and they flatly refused! I would never, ever use these people again.

I work close by and have used them for the last 4 years on a regular basis. I use their standard service and have always been happy with results. None of my clothes - suits, dresses, shirts - ever had any defects upon return and they were always cleaned well. They have also done a few alterations for me with which I have been equally satisfied. Prices are very competitive

I've visited this business as it's local to my office. Having taken the gold service for three times the price and having been told that a) this means hand finishing and a much more attentive service to your clothing, and b) this service had to be taken for silk. They have STILL manged to ruin a silk skirt, silk blouse and a jacket. The skirt, worn once, was a lovelly emerald green silk. It now looks like it's 100 years old with the colour taken out of the creases and now feels like rough cushion fabric as opposed to the gorgeous silk of 3 days ago. My best guess is that they have used water on each item (despite being a dry cleaner) as there are also water marks on the silk blouse and the jacket's material is bunching (like it does when it gets WET). NEVER use these people.
