Lucy White ruined my jacket and lost another item of clothing.
When I complained about the jacket they offered me a discount on further dry-cleaning. I asked for compensation towards the cost of replacement. At first they denied they had dry-cleaned it. Then they said
it would not be worth my while financially pursuing a claim. When I said I wanted to they asked for evidence of how much I paid. I forwarded them an email from the shop I bought it from confirming the cost. They would not accept that as proof and refused compensation.
They also lost another item of clothing. When I complained they insisted they had returned it. I went into the shop and they were adamant they had a system which meant it was “impossible” that the item had not been returned. I asked them to check and they found it in the back of the shop.
It is not just the terrible service, damaging and losing clothing, that made me angry. It was their refusal to accept responsibility and attempt to blame

I dropped off my wedding dress 3 weeks prior to my wedding to be cleaned. After failing to remove all the marks (twice!), I requested to speak to the manager about a discount. The manager told me I would pay my bill and that he didn't need customers 'like me'. He closed the shop early when I told him I was going to be collecting my dress that evening, stole my dress from the shop, rang me and threatened to keep the dress unless I paid my bill in full (I had the full amount in my wallet!), and then forced my fiance to meet him at the Richmond shop at 10pm to make a cash exchange for my dress
Response from MOSS UKKA MANAGER
Dear Customer,
I have just seen your review and vehemently deny your comments we clean around 20 wedding dresses a week if we were doing it like you suggest in your comments we would be out of business
you brought a second hand dress (torn) we cleaned it as well as we could all your accusations above are baseless you did not want to pay for our service rendered to you thus creating a scene
i did offer you a discount and dropped your fiance to your doorstep with the wedding dress i truely believe you wanted us to clean your secondhand dress free of charge

I have used the cleaners on several occasion and my recommendation is not to use their services for any garment of value. I have a new shirt ruined by their clumsy attempts to remove a little stain, I have been in the shop and witnessed a girl crying over a ruined wedding dress.

Its not fair to look at one side of the story and posting reviews customers think that we are magicians and can remove all the stains and when we can't they post negative reviews and normaly lie about the whole issue

I have used this dry cleaner a number of times, thinking on each occasion, everyone is entitled to have a bad day - however having experienced appaling service on every occasion - even over the phone - even my patience is now exhausted. The front office team leave everything to be desired from a customer service perspective. That English is not their first language is absolutely not an excuse for the abruptness with which they address customers. While in store I've witnessed others receiving the same tone and approach. This is unacceptable, no matter your colour, your language, your nationality, or even the time of day. The business environment is at this time extremely competitive. Common courtesy in this instance would have been all that would have been required for me to remain a customer.
