Dapper UK Dry Cleaners

Not very good customer service. I handed in 6 silk cushion covers, three of them still had stains and one of them came back with a broken zip, which renders it pretty much useless. After speaking to the person in charge was told that they would not mend the zip and would not offer a refund for the covers that were not cleaned. I was told he had 25 years of experience, but he did not explain that the stains (water) would not come out of them before he took my money. He also did not mention that the stains had not come out when he sent me home with them. To cut a long story short I was told by trading standards that I have a case under the supply of goods and services act, and that the organisation had a duty of care to ensure that my items were not damaged. They said I should go back to them, but do I really want to have them break some more zips...NO. So through connections, I thought it would better to send an email to everyone I know and the local authority to ensure they never to business with this organisation. It has more impact and satisfaction than chasing after a refund I may never get. Do not use them, you have been warned.

it would be nice if you can put an operational phone number on the internet. wanted to call to request home collection if applicable and to enquire about suede cleaning but number not operational.
