We are happy to make home visits if you are unable to come to the practice or if your pet is too unwell to travel. However, please bear in mind that all the equipment and resources are based at the practice and we would prefer you to bring your pet to us if at all possible to enable us to provide the optimum treatment.
New puppies and kittens receive a complimentary welcome pack and we offer advice on all aspects of health care and behaviour and answers to any questions that you may have including senior clinics for older pets. Much of our work takes place behind the scenes and you may not witness all the quality of our services, but you can be confident that every one of our patients is treated with compassion and lots of tender loving care. Once again, we welcome you as a client and hope that we are able to meet your expectations of service and provide your pet with the best possible continuing health care.

the shepherd's bush/brackenbury branch is every bit as good. They are thorough and really kind to Rigs, even he doesn't mind going despite the fact that they had to remove a lot of his teeth. He's doing great and so much happier after teeth removal, poor boy must have been in agony with his teeth but never complained so big thanks to petcare for spotting what a terrible state his gums and teeth were in, he could have literally poisoned because of infections.

The rash appeared again and I got a second opinion from two different vets who explained that the rash was likely to be a reaction to a flea bite. They checked which flea prevention drops I used on my cat and found the dosage was too low. Since using a higher dosage my cat has not come up in any rash. The vets at petcare did not check this and I feel they compromise their service by not asking enough questions and charging unecessary testing.
We are sorry you were not happy with our level of service. Certainly all our Vets are trained to carry put full clinical examinations and explain exactly what the condition may be and any treatment options along with costs. If you feel you were given incomplete advice or were wrongly advised or charged, please contact me directly and this will be resolved and any charges you feel may have been asked of you will be refunded. I can only however say that in conditions where there is a skin rash, there are many possible causes. Sometimes a flea bite allergy may be the cause but there are often underlying issues, which we like to adress so that the condition dos not return

the vet you saw trained under the previous Vet peter for several years and is very experienced and also very caring. true apologies if you felt the cost was high, but please please let us know directly and we will review your bill. if the vet was truly unfriendly or you felt she did not treat your cat well, please let me know directly at the surgery and i will adress this matter personally.

I saw the young lady vet (who i am told has been there a few years along side peter) but also met the new owner in the waiting room, who seemed lovely and very knowledgeable about my cat's condition.
With regards to the prices, the fee was the same that peter charged me last year and the new medication that i was given was actually cheaper and my cat is the best he has been in a long time! I also spoke to one of the new young ladies there who took time to recommend a special diet that has never been mentioned before, which has also helped.
Although Peter and Jane were lovely I am starting to wonder if a more modern approach is an improvement?

When my dog needed stitches this week, to a 2 inch laceration on her leg I took her down the Petcare as usual, previously for this sort of treatment - anathetic and stitches & aftercare, I would have been charged approx. £200 all covered on my insurance - to my HORROR yes horror, the bill handed to me later on that day when I picked her up - was £754.00!!!!!!! 15 items!!! £25 per min for stitches!!!! Thieves - go there only if you're too rich to care.
