They'll be very nice at first and then absolutely horrible when it comes to moving out. They'll do their best to retain your deposit no matter how hard you've kept it well mantained and even if you get professional cleaning services when you move out. Horrible experience having to deal with these guys who will straight out lie to you with no shame. Do not even consider dealing with them.

I’m the customer relations manager of Claremont Estates and I’d like to apologise for your bad experience. I’ve had a look through our records and cannot seem to find a record of us still holding a clients deposit where it should have been refunded! Please could you tell us when this transaction took place and which property you were hoping to lease from us. It is against our fair policy to let a property to someone else if a holding fee has been taken. Please contact us by phone or visit the office so we can resolve this for you straightaway. This agents unfortunately let us down very badly. They seemed lovely and found us a nice property I hadn;t seen before. I have to say their knowledge and advice were excellent. However they took a ho;ding fee from me and let me gather references then rang to say they had let the property to someone else. The manager has not contacted me since to explain and I have to go back to the agents to collect my substantial cash hoding fee. I would avoid if possible.
