Good old fashioned bike shop that offer sound advice. Purchased a small mountain bike for my daughter. They prepared the bike for us within 20 minutes.
Buy local there is more choice out there than Halfords!

Had my bike serviced at the shop. Thought it was great because they said they would do it over the weekend. Not impressed with the results - I had the top level service and it is not cheep. They made the following mistakes. 1 did not tighten the crank pinch bolts so the crank fell off while I was riding and lost the dust cover. 2. Both the gear cables were changed and they did not run either through the guides on the frame so theY ended up against the inside of the cranks, and 3. Did not mention that the rear disk pads were shot - down to the base less than 2 weeks later. Won't use again
