£55 brake service left my static pads fully recessed and causing a lot of noise. When I returned the following day complaining about the squeaking, he blamed the quality of my year-old, £500 bike.

When I returned two months later, after a simultaneous brake failure sent me flying into a fence, he gave a cursory, dismissive glance at the bike and made the same excuse, either unwilling or incapable of working out why the brakes were completely ineffectual.

I know I was horribly naive to buy his latest claim that, like the squeaking, this fault was down to the quality of the bike not his neglient work, but I don't know much about bikes and assumed no one would deliberately mislead me to such an extent when the risks involved were so potentially fatal.

When I took the bike to another repair shop, they diagnosed the issue within 30 seconds and were gobsmacked that a bike shop would ever position the brakes in such a way.

Needless to say, when I returned with this knowledge he treated me with contempt and after the briefest of discussions shouted at me to leave his shop.

Had my brakes stopped working in a similar way 30 seconds earlier or later than they did, I would most likely be dead.

Do not use or trust this cyncical, incomptent and uncaring man.

I love independent shops, and I believe they should be supported, but some businesses owner should really understand what customer service means.
I am a quite easy customer, I like to pay for a good service and do not pretend.
I always try to be understandable, as I know for experience that things are not always going right, but that you can always fix it with the right level of politeness and respect (from both sides).

They couldn’t realise that a 700x28c tyre wasn’t fitting my front wheel, but they started the job on the back wheel, so they left me with only one wheel done because they where waiting for a 25c tyre for the front.
I had to chase them for 2 months to finish the job, and they weren’t even bothering to contact me.
The tyre they couldn’t find in the last 2 months, I could easily find it online on at least 5 websites.

It is obvious they are valuing only clients that are spending a thousand pound of work.

Truly disappointed, they didn’t want to solve their own mistake and washed their hand in a very rude way.

I personally found them to be not very helpful and rude. I think they can improve their customer service by listening to what the customer has to say. It's a nice little shop in a nice area, a real shame they don't treat people better.

went to buy a chain,get it replaced and get some tuning done,work quality was good,labor prices were amazingly cheap when compared to London prices,another plus was quick turn around,i dropped my bike of around 01:00 and i picked up at 06:00,Store is amazingly stocked ,and has Georgous vintage Road Bikes ,rare frames and stuff which i would envision myself buying in the future when i have tho money to spend.

if you r thinking about buying a Bike but aren't sure exactly what you want to get?come to Future Cycles Shop,these guys are experts and know what they're talking about,if you r serious about investing in to a road bike this is the place to go ,they provide answers to all your questions ,and have a variety of options to choose from Cinelli and Tifosi are the superstars on deck,and the best part of it all,they lat you test ride them!!i think that was my favorite part when coming here,its great,cause you get a feel for which bike better suites you.

the shop is the so cool ,very good customer service from pump in the tayers to baying best spoke component .

Since finding the shop I have become a regular customer. Always top advice due to expert knowledge not just on bikes but also cycling and a cyclists needs. I am so pleased I found this place. I have an old city bike I get around on and taking it to the other shops in the area I felt that they were secretly sneering- this area can be a bit snobby! But Halim, the owner of this shop, is the nicest, most down to earth guy, with great honest feedback and suggestions. He did a great job of fixing my bike- at a more reasonable price by far than the other shops, in fact only 8 for a flat tire when the other shop charges 11....!
