Smith Bros are enthusiastic, genuine, knowledgeable and friendly and services don't cost the earth. It's wonderful to have an independent like this in the neighbourhood; long may they continue!

Great bike shop. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Friendly service and they know what theyre talking about. I brought a new bike in May and there was a fault with the mudguards. When i took it back, within 2 days they replaced the mudguards with new sturdy ones that were even better than the original ones and they never charged me a penny. They even inflated my tyres and hired my saddle for me. They also gave me a free bike lock. I recommend this shop 100% of the time. And the service has that personal touch too which you wont find in large stores.

These guys are an old fashioned, straight forward business who know their subject and know how to advise and deal with customers, and maintain bikes. Halfords are poor, Evans are good. But these guys top the lot. Smaller stock. Different brands. But great product and service. Fabulous with the kids too.

They are always friendly and more than happy to help out. I have bought 2 bikes from them before and could not recommend them highly enough to anyone else.

simply one of the best bike shops around for service, reliability and just great to deal with - we've all had experiences with the chains - this place should be first on your list when you think about your bike

Smith Bros have been looking after my bikes for the last 25 years. They are friendly, efficient, very knowledgeable and completely honest - I cannot recommend them strongly enough. The other bike shops in the area ( and elsewhere) are completely hopeless in comparison.

Having called up Halfords and Evans with no success, Smith Brothers told me over the phone exactly what part I was missing on my bike and when I went into the store, they were efficient, helpful and gave me the part for only a couple pounds when they could have easily charged me £20.
A genuinely great local service - thank you!

These guys are great! They are so helpful, honest and all at a great price!
We have bought 3 bikes from them now and they are all excellent! They even gave my daughter a free basket (probably because we go so much) I wouldn't go anywhere else now! Totally recommend them!

These chaps are straight shooting, knowledgable and economical. After two diabolically bad experiences at Evans (where I bought my bike), I now only take my bike to these chaps. I may be over-rating because the service at Evans is so bad, but everything is relative. They fix your bike properly at minimal cost, call when they say they will and don't try to sweet talk you or BS you. There is something old fashioned and personal about this store that I like, perhaps its the workmanship. Anyway, they're a good bunch, so if you're reading this, take your bike to Smith Bros.

I phoned Smith Brothers to ask if they can change my tyres, remove the slicks on my mtb and put my knobblies back on. My mom took my bike in & when she got there they remembered that I phoned and asked them what to do. You don't get that at the franchises anymore. Thanks a lot! Tharina

My road bike was in a bad shape so I took it in to Smith & Co. They were very honest about what was and wasn't required. The bike needed a new chain, front and back chain ring, rebuilt rear wheel and general service. Smith & Co were able to source the parts and fix all the issues quickly and at a reasonable price. The bike is working like a dream 3 weeks later so I would definitely recommend them.
