I see the reviews on here are fairly old, and I can't help but think that something must have changed radically at this shop. I have had nothing but good experiences with Bike and Run. In fact, I consider it the best merchant I've dealt with in London.

I bought a mountain bike there, then decided I wanted a more road-oriented bike. They swapped at no cost to me at all. Then, and this is where the place really set itself apart, I rode the new bike on some rougher roads and decided I should have stuck with the mountain bike and just changed out some kit. I was expecting to have to pay a bunch of dosh to do another exchange, but they did it absolutely free. Not only that, they GAVE me an adjustable stem to raise the handlebars and give the riding position I'd so enjoyed on the previous bike. That goes far beyond what I would have expected, and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

I found the staff to be helpful but never pushy. Yes, you may have to approach them instead of waiting for them to come to you, but I think that's just the way they do things. When it comes to real customer service, they have it in spades. I'll be doing a lot of shopping there and I won't be going back to a big chain store.
