This shop is such a jewel. I lived in the area for a while and didn't even realise it was there. It takes me back to toy shops way way back. So much variety and choice, great choice of stationery too and owners very very helpful. On my last visit the Owner was happy to allow my boys to examine the toys closely before choosing and was also very helpful with finding items. He allowed me time to browse with the children even though he should have closed! Also it is very competitively priced for a high street store. Will use and support this store over others to help it survive.

Very helpful, relaxed shop, took granddaughter there,browsing for Christmas. Highly recommend.

Gordons toys and stationary is absolutely brilliant. It sells everything you want and more. If they haven't got it they offer to get it for you. I would reccommened going down there and having look. They don't even mind you just browsing and they don't moan at you if your child/ren touch things. Its as good as toys R us but in a smaller version and alot more friendly. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful.
