This has to be the worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
I became a member of IQRA money transfer/cargo/travels, as I live local. I Sent Zakat through them in 2010. As you may know Zakat is calculated and the exact amount has to be given to the poor. I’ve sent mine through Iqra Group in 2010 Ramadan. The exchange rate that was written on their receipt did not add up to the actual money they sent, there was a significant amount of taka less than the amount meant to be according to their exchange rate.
When i called IQRA Group, Stepney E1, They said to me that this was just to make the calculation easy for us and the banks in Bangladesh don’t like to handle with decimal points. This has to be the biggest bull**** I’ve ever heard.
Not only that the Old man, who I spoke to on the phone, who usually sits in the back room dealing with all the ‘blackMoney’ as they call it. Who I also believe to be the main owner of Iqra Group, Was so rude that was unbelievable, may Allah help him. Not only that he just hang up the phone on me.
This is not the customer service you would get in Bangladesh. I would strongly Advice everyone to stay away from IQRA MONEY TRANSFER because of their rude customer service.
