My partner has just come off 2 long phone calls to Omega Travel. Unfortunately ... our experience tallys with reports of poor customer service written by a number of people who have put reviews on this platform.
This morning, we received notification to contact Omega about an unexpected change to our flight schedule. However, when we called there was a very long wait before a customer services representative answered the call.
Then, when we said we weren't happy about being transferred to a flight with a 5 hour layover, the representative hung up.
On a 2nd call, my partner was told "That's the way it is, sir" in response to our dissatisfaction with the flight change. We have not been offered food vouchers, but have had 'attitude' instead. Reading other peoples' reports, it raises a concern that we could be expecting more scheduling changes. Crossing fingers that our journey is comfortable, however, we'd deem it best to book directly with the airline

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have tried to amend my booking several times...however I cannot reach through to ANYBODY and have written 3 emails with no replies. No one from this company will give you their name, they are absolutely hopeless. I would never book with them again!!

I booked a one way ticket with them, then I asked them if I could change it to a return. they said no, so I had to buy another single ticket which cost me loads. later on, I found out that I could pay a small fee to cancel my single ticket, then buy a return ticket for much less money, I was very annoyed that they didn't tell me a cheaper option. so I called them, and they just hang up. terrible service.

I booked our tickets on-line and used my Debit Card. The reservation came through and I was advised that ticket numbers would be issued within 24 hours, if not, contact the email address for an "urgent" reply.
As no numbers were issued I emailed four times - no reply; telephoned and listened to music and a recorded voice; telephoned again and after six minutes someone deigned to speak to me, put me on hold and that was it.
Whether we ever get our tickets is questionable and now I face the nausea of contacting my Bank to stop misuse of my card.
Trusting my experience will be a lesson to others.

Went on 1-day tour to Bath & Stonehenge. Good value, excellent tour guide - Amanda, but driver was rude & unfriendly. Refused to turn on the vents because he was cold! No regard for the customers.
3 days later, we joined the 5-day tour to Manchester,Glasgow, Edinburgh. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Amanda the guide & David the Driver were excellent. They treated us like guests & looked after us throughout the trip. Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly & wished we could have more days. Very good value for money & the hotels provided were very good - Ibis & Novotel.
Would highly recommend to friends. Should advertise on website in Australia as we had difficulty in finding Chinese operators in London. There were 6 of us in the group & we would have joined 6 - 8 day tours. Would definitely go on your tours again, particularly if you include Italy, Germany & Eastern Europe. Please advertise with more details & you would get more business overseas.
