This is the worst video club ever. When I returned one of the dvd's which did not work, one of their female staff told me she put a note on my account to get a new copy next time I come back. When I returned, the other day there was no note. They promissed to call and they never did. On other occasion They refused to take the dvd back although the club was still open and the staff was present. They charged the penalty fees claiming the club was closed when I have arrived. The staff is unhelpfull and quite often rude.

Having spent almost 30 minutes picking up videos to watch one of the staff approached me and told me "The store is closd". I told him "I have spent over 30 minutes picking videos. Normally There is a tannoy announcement that the store is to close soon. There wasnt any." I then went to the cash desk to purchase my videos and told the cashier that I had been instructed to go to the cash desk and didnt have time to pick 5 videos(5 were on offer). The cashier told me I had attitiude and that he wasnt serving me. So including the time it took to walk to the store and to walk home plus the 30 minutes in store I wasted an hour of my life. I should charge Blockbusters for my time! I wont be going back and in fact will be making it my business from now on to deter others from giong there too.

I'm new to east London, i was board one night and wanted to try my local blockbuster... What can i say, the staff greeted me as i walked in the door and made me feel very welcome, after looking around for a while i could not find what i wanted (the store is very large). I asked at the counter and the nice man searched for the film, then showed me himself where the film was and also recommended other he had seen that i might like.
Over all i spent £12 and got 4 films and 2 bags of popcorn.
I would be happy to go back again and again

This place is amazing. I really wanted to watch a film, but was loath to buy one and less than satisfied with the offerings afforded to me by terrestrial television. I felt trapped, until I heard about Blockbuster on MIle End Road. Here you can effectively borrow any modern film you can think of for a small payment. Imagine my delight as I left the store with my film of choice and a 60ml tub of Ben and Jerry's for just £7.95 in total.
However, the woman who works there is a bit like the lead from an alternatively set modern-day fable of Adolf Hitler's life: Blökkbüßter. She appears to think that the store is the platform her growing socialist agenda. Be wary of her.
