I first used Alinea three years ago to repair some valuable books, and was impressed with their work. I have just returned to them (January 2011) for the binding of two books, one old that needed repairing, and a new bind. Once again, the standard of their work was excellent, with the job quickly done -- and at a reasonable price. I was impressed throughout by their helpfulness and professionalism.

I called this morning to ask if they do plastic ring binding for my dissertation only to be answered very rudely with 'what??'. After repeating the question again the reply was 'no no, bye' and they hung up. This isn't the sort behaviour I expect from anyone, and particularly from any business!
