Latchmere Leisure Centre

OK, so the Latchmere isn’t the World’s best, but in many ways serves the community well enough. What I can’t abide is the ‘independent family run’ cafe charging extortionate pricees for low-cost foods. £2 for a kinder egg and other sweets that most other places wouldn’t charge even a pound for (although having been bringing my kids here for over 4 years I am pretty sure they make it up as they go). Its basically barefaced daylight robbery from a relatively captive audience, they should loose the license and be massively ashamed of themselves!!!

This gym has been unable to impress me from day one. Do not expect any well informed gym instructors to give you advice. I've been swore at in the swimming pool by moms / nannies who let their kids swim in the ADULT lanes, and the overall cleanliness is disgusting to say the least. Stay away!

this is the worst gym in London...... it's dirty, poor customer service and it's dirty.
believe me, don't waste your time and money in this gym.

the reception is most of time busy so even if you are a member and have a card you must wait that the reception finishes to walk in because with you can't swipe your card and they have to give you a code to enter to the gym.

the changing room stink, very very dirty and don't even think to leave your items in the locker because you may not find them even if you close it with your padlock. the shower are dirty and once there was a empty shampoo and i find it in the shower for 1 week, this means no one cleaned it for a week.

the gym overall is ok but the fitness instructor never help you in anyway and if you ask something seems that you asked them the moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the swimming pool is large but it's full of children and you only have a small lane to swim and again its' dirty.

the management??? terrible... once i asked them to check my membership and they just ignored my requests for many times.

just don't go to latchmere leisure center and you will be fit enough.

My children love this pool. It has an elephant slide and shallow water - also waves at the weekends and half term holidays. There's soft play upstairs next door to the cafe - great for lunch after a swim.

Security issues have been solved by fitting combination padlocks to the lockers. You have to buy one and then remember to take it every time.

They have a serious security issue which resulted in lost of customers’ items from lockers numerous times. Disappointingly, they decided to solve customers' requests by ignoring them. Very irresponsible management team.

The swimming pool water is murky and because it's very popular with young children, you'd find pieces left behind to swim through. Half shower's locks broken, holes in partitioning walls. I tolerated it for a while just because I live nearby, now moved to a different leisure centre, different company, much happier, never stepped in Latchmere centre (or any DC centre) ever again.
