Waterfront Leisure Centre

There are so many better equipped, better maintained and better run pools that I'm not sure why anyone would choose to go to the Waterfront Leisure Centre. It's unfriendly, unclean and unhelpful, and it needs to be put out of its misery as soon as possible - on health and safety grounds if nothing else, because sooner or later, something bad is going to happen there.

Save yourself the hassle (or possibly something worse) and go elsewhere.

The staff were rude and each question was followed by the answer 'you will have to check online' - I mean the woman showing us around didn't even know the opening times... Needless to say I WILL NOT BE JOINING

I have going to this gym from last 8 months and I just cancelled the membership few days ago. This happened because each and everyday behaviour of the staff made me feel that I am going to gym as granted and when I go for swimming every time someone is shouting at the customers in the words like "hey you" "Oie" which I don't think is the appropriate word used for the customers if you are getting paid for the job and customers paying for the service. It doesn't makes any sense for me that why they behave like that. I am joining other gym now which is 24 hours and cost less. Closing time n

I have only just signed up to the gym area, which looks ok to be honest but I'm not yet a regular user. All I can do is agree with the other reviewers that even during the signing up process the staff member that showed me around was rude. I had to say to her, 'Is there something wrong?' as she seemed so inpatient. She answered me by telling me everything was fine and only then did she slow down abit and behave a little bit better. All the staff had a similar can't be bothered attitude. Unfortunate that this Centre has taken on this character due to its lacklustre staff.

I have been using the centre for more than two years. I would say the centre is fine with the facilities, but some of the staff there don't look really friendly, patient and helpful. Come on they get pay for their jobs there. If they aren't happy just leave. Why should we see these bitter and indifferent faces?
Other than that, the centre is well-facilitated and popular.

I have used this leisure centre for more than 10 months. The gym is good with a range of equipments. The group exercises are ok. The swimming pool is large (33 m) but not heated. So it's not possible to swim in winters unless you are a keen swimmer. . The family pool is smaller and temperatures maintained at 30 deg , so manageable in winters. But some of the staff/ guards can be really rude at times. 6 in 10 are good but the rest look like really frustrated uni students. Every weekend you can see them picking a fight with one of the random fathers/mothers. But otherwise it's a nice pool especially the large snake slide.

the waterfront is really good and really fun except your not allowed to bring stuff in there and the slides are really really fun. The snake is amazing ti goes on for about 20 secs and you wait in line for about 2-5 mins but if you wait all of that time you make themost of it
