My wife and daughter were scammed with a pressure selling technique by these "photographers" some time ago
New ID represents good value for money. The hairdressing is particularly good. The staff are very friendly and it is very easy to book online. The free Bucks Fizz was amazing and I was really impressed with the composition of the pics. There were plenty to chose from. The makeover took about 4hrs
Having a makeover with New ID is a really special experience. I felt like a new woman from head to toe when I stepped out of that salon a few hours after I went in. This is a really special experience that i will never forget and I will go again for sure for hair and makeup
I thought New ID was an amazing place to have a makeover. The quality of the hairdressing and the makeup was quite exceptional. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I loved the photoshoot. The prints came by post yesterday and are even better than I imagined. Great company well worth going.
What a lovely experience the New ID Deluxe Makeover is. I had such an amazing time and the staff took really fantastic care of me. I loved the look they created for me and the pictures are out of this world. I highly recommend this experience and will go back again myself for sure.
1. New ID is a great company that lay out all of the terms and conditions on the website in a way that if you have half a head you will find out all that you need to know
2. New ID do all that they say they are going to do on the description of the makeovers on the website, you will not find any disappointments and you will not find any nasty surprise.
3. The New ID team are great, they are ultra friendly and make you feel very welcome and comfortable the whole time that you are there
4. The photographer makes you feel so great, you will not feel out of place and even if you have never done any kind of modeling before you will still feel great and they tell you exactly what to do so it is easy.
5. The hair and makeup products are amazing, watch out you are going to want to buy loads of them so make sure you don’t just take money for the pictures
6. The pictures are amazing, there is no hard sell but they are so good believe me you are going to want way more of them than you expect so make sure you take your credit card.
7. All of the staff are super duper friendly and you will love this experience as I did
8. The quality of the pictures are totally amazing and you will not believe how great you will look in these pictures this is just one great way of seriously increasing you own self esteem and getting a new lease of life on your look.

After nine months of starving myself and managing to lose nearly three stone I loved my new shape and so I wanted to get some pictures taken of me and my body. When I stumbled across Burlingtons and New ID studio which is a place that do a makeover and photoshoot. This was just what I wanted and after checking them out online I immediately phoned and booked an appointment. When I arrived with my new clothes I was buzzing about what the session could bring. My last hair cut was an ok one but now with my skinny face I wanted a short style to really show it off. The stylist was a lovely young girl who was a great person to work with she listened to what I wanted but I could see it wasn’t a real challenge but the final cut was great in kind of hugged my face. When the make up was put on I wasn’t so comfortable with the amount they put on but they told me it was only for the camera and I could easily tone it down for the real world. So when I got in the studio I was in my element with my new clothes and my lovely skinny waist. The photographer was great and let me go wild, I was up and down and left and right. I had at least four sets of clothes which I made sure I wore them all. My time was soon up and then I got the chance to pick my photos and they were out of this world. Thanks New ID I will be back sooner rather than later.
I went to Burlingtons and New ID because I wanted to have a makeover and a photoshoot and I tell you these people really know their stuff. My appointment was easy to make, and when I arrived I had no waiting time and I had a lovely glass of bucks fizz to start me off. Not only did my stylist listen, but she actually cares and gives great advice on what is best for your hair. I was able to say, "Go ahead and do what you want," and she gave me an amazing cut. (If you've got a stylist you can trust to do this, don't let him/her go!) I've got a lot of thick hair which grows like a weed, and I do the bare minimum to it when I get ready in the morning, so it's a challenge to give me a cut that looks great without excessive products and intensive blow drying. She is friendly, easy to talk to and very talented about cuts and colour. I am never going to let anyone else touch my hair! I have recommended them to several friends and family and they have all fallen in love with her as well. My photographer took some great head shots for me and I'm usually very shy about close up photographs. But these were the best pictures I've ever got! My photographer was very professional and personable, he made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I'd definitely recommend Burlingtons and The New id team to anyone in my spheres for their skill at the whole makeover and photoshoot scene.
It has been a long time since I cared about what my hair looks like. It was long and all one length, and when I did style it- it looked like bed head that I did on purpose. Well I finally decided to give Burlingtons and New ID studio a shot and OH MY GOODNESS did they do wonders with my hair! It has style and body again! She did an amazing job keeping the length and giving me layers that move. It's soft and manageable for someone like me who hates to get up early enough to style my hair. My stylist who was given to me for the session I spent here truly has a gift for not only creating beautiful hair, but for making me feel comfortable. By the end of the appointment, I felt like she was an old friend of mine. After a lovely hour of studied cutting, retouching, blow drying, and shaping, my long hair suddenly had bouncing layers, and my hair somehow looked LONGER! She didn't seem to have curly hair herself but knew just how to blow dry in softer more controlled curls by twirling the brush the way I do at home, but better. Moreover, she spent the perfect amount of time on my hair--not too rushed and didn't feel too long or unecessary either. Finding this wonderful salon and studio called Burlingtons and New ID studio was a great relief. I had never enjoyed being photographed until my recent experience here. They are creative, practical, professional, and very kind. If you're looking for seasoned experience and a pleasant shoot, look no further.
Thank you everyone at Burlingtons and New ID studio. They gave me the best hair colour, highlights, new cut, and fashionable style!!! From the second i walked into Burlingtons and New ID, i felt comfortable, relaxed, and my stress went away! Not only do i LOVE my hair, i also feel like i finally found the stylist that i have always been searching for!! They seemed to know what i needed, and guided me through the whole thing!! I can tell that they has been doing hair for years, but has kept up with their education, and they are very fashionable and artistic!! I was ever so excited about my photoshoot and I hoped it would be very enjoyable and I was completely satisfied with my photographer. The pictures came out beautiful and the staff are so professional that absolutely nothing went undone. My best friend has amazingly long and beautiful hair too. She saw my pictures and wants hers done too now. I have to bring her in to see you so you can give her the royal treatment and make her feel like a princess like you did me! I had a great time having a makeover and photoshoot with New ID, it was way more fun than I had anticipated and a lot more laid back, having said that it was also done very professionally and I was very impressed with all aspects of the makeover, from the warm greeting of the reception staff to getting the superb pictures through the post and every part of it in between, all was carried out in a fun and professional manner. I loved having the makeover done, the quality of the hair and the makeup were amazing and I can honestly say that I have never looked that good before and probably won’t again. I have been doing my best to try to recreate my look via the little face chart they give you but I am not sure I will ever be able to do it quite as well as they do. The photos shoot was more fun than you could possibly imagine and I never thought I had quite so many great poses in me! The photographer really brought me out of myself and captured some superb shots during some superb happy moments. I would be more than happy to recommend New ID to anybody looking for a great place to have a makeover.
I have been to some high end stylists all over London and nobody can compare to the stylist I had at Burlingtons and New ID. He is one of a kind! I wish I could upload a picture of my hair for you to see. I don't typically spend too much money on myself and have a hard time doing so as a mother but this was worth every penny. I would go back and do it again tomorrow - and my hubby would let me. He was thrilled with it as well as the photographs. When you see the final pictures that the New ID photographer has taken you can see that they are more than just pictures and you realize that the price you pay is well worth what you get. It is at this point you have to look at your budget and you soon see what your priorities are and see what works best for your purse. I would rather have one photo from New ID than many from any other places I have been to before. I am an expert when it comes to hunting out the best job for the best price and this does not mean just looking for a bargain. With this place you pay less for more but it equals out if you want to treat yourself more. No hard sell a perfect combination. Burlingtons and New ID studio I cannot thank you enough! You are truly amazing. You made me feel and look like a princess and completely at ease. You have a customer for life my friends.
I have just had the best fun experience for a really really long time with the help from all the super helpful staff at The Burlintons and the new id studio. Now im not a model just an average looking girl who can scrub up nicely but I just needed that professional touch to make me really shine. I just wanted to capture this time in my life on film for me to have forever. When I walked in to the really stylish salon and greeted with a smile and a free glass of bucks fizz. That was a lovely touch to start the day especially as I am quite self conscious about my style and my body. With my insercurities building up I quickly had another bucks fizz and with the help from the stylist I relaxed and let her do her stuff. After I had the best shampoo and scalp massage and I would recommend that to everyone. I sat in my comfy chair and told her I was a blank canvas and it was her choice. Now this could have gone wrong but wow did it not. The final result of my new cut and style was the tip of the top, then with my make up lesson I was looking like I was going out to the proms but I let them be in total control and it was for the photographs and I could easily tone it down for day to day wearing. The photo shoot was not so comfortable for me but I struggled through and to my amazement the final photos I had to choose from were fabulous. I first visited Burlingtons and New ID Studio Salon for a hair appointment a few months ago and I'm hoping to schedule another appointment very soon. Burlingtons and New ID. Where do I start? Well from the begining would be best I spose. Everything went to plan. The studio/salon is nice, clean, and bright. I really was not sure of what it was I wanted to be done exactly, so after a great consultation and getting some really great new ideas. I was soon ushered off to my hair chair for my new styling. It didn’t take long for me to see this guy cutting my hair was a talented snipper. He did a great job of cutting to preserve my length but to also enhance my natural waves, which is what I asked for. He spent lots of time talking to me about how to reproduce the style myself and what types of products to use and didn't try to sell me anything, which is always nice not to feel pressured to buy anything The cut turned out very very cute, and I got plenty of compliments from my family and friends. All the staff at Burlingtons and New ID studio has to be the best staff ever. They are so easy to work with and they are super flexible and extremely friendly, so when I had my pictures taken with them it was super easy and relaxed. Their work is priceless. The pictures I have from my day with them are invaluable to me and I am so happy that i chose such great people to work with. I will always choose to work with Burlingtons and New ID studio for the rest of my life!
Thank you so much Burlingtons and New ID, for the colour, cut and pictures that all turned out fantastically well. I was so worried about my hair but they did do such an splendid job on bringing it back to life. It was a right old mess; the colour was ugly orange (thanks dad), over grown and plain looking. I’m so grateful I found Burlingtons and New ID studio and got a deluxe makeover and photoshoot. Though I was referred by my friend, I did remain a little skeptical, but they really do a great job here. I rarely get haircuts because of all the fuss, but my hair stylist was really nice and helpful. She has a great eye for fusing your ideas with practicality. She gave me my best haircut. I really love it! I don't know that I can say much that hasn't already been said, but this salon is simply the best of the best. My pictures are simply stunning. I don't really consider myself to be good looking, but the photographer here has a way of capturing you so that you see past your flaws and see the real beauty of you. There was not one photo where I thought "Oh mu god! My face/butt/boobs/elbows/feet are SO UGLY." I don't know how he does it, but he can bring out the beauty in anything. Me!. But a real big thank you to everyone here for a great day and with some great photos.
I had a very bad experience at a very expensive hair salon just the other month. I was in despair because I had a date to go on and my hair looked like a right mess. Does anybody know if there are hair salon police because I want to report my last salon to them. So with my hair in a right two and eight my last salon being reported to the police I needed someone to get my hair done before the weekend. I had run out of ideas so I went online and I found a salon and photo studio by the name of Burlingtons and New ID studio which wasn’t only a beautiful looking salon but gave me the chance to have a makeover photoshoot. This was something that I had never had before so I called and booked straight away. I would recommend Burlingtons and New ID to everyone after just one visit. All that they offered me came to fruition. I was met by the loveliest staff who were so ready to please me. That is always a great start. From the hairstylist who did a fantasictly beautiful job, and the best if the best was the photographer. He made me feel absolutely comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. For all you women, he will make you feel gorgeous. I loved, loved, LOVED my experience with him. He is an absolute miracle in my book - I have a difficult face to photograph, and he managed to capture me at just the perfect angles. I recently tried out Burlingtons and New ID Studio I was looking for a new salon as my old stylist on occasion got a little bit sloppy. I also liked that they were a photography studio. I looked online and saw prices were ranging from 50 pounds up. I thought the price looked a bit low for a decent hair cut and photoshoot in London so when I called I asked the receptionist if the prices were right that I saw online and she confirmed it. She was polite and even asked me if I had any special preferences so I said I wanted to be with someone that was experienced and good with long hair. I was told this would not be a problem. When I arrived, from the second I walked in I was in hair heaven. I absolutely loved it. They controlled my hair perfectly and I only wanted a trim. I did have my colour done because I have had my hair done by all the best in London and here is right up with the best. I am not an easy client either. I have been going back and forth from brunette to blonde every year at least once a year and the stylists have made me look amazing not every time. This time it was the best colour possible. It was fantastic. I would highly recommend Burlingtons and New ID studio. It is a beautiful salon with very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.
I discovered Burlingtons and New ID about two months ago and fell in love. These makeover specialists have an extremely well run place with knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. After checking out their website and then scanning the review websites I decided to ring them and book a deluxe makeover and photoshoot. It took me a few calls to get through to them, obviously because they are a busy place. It can take one years to find the right stylist, but once I came here I knew I was hooked! There was a few stylists working when I was there and the lady I had was talented, hip and willing to work with you whether you know exactly what you want, or need her to make a few recommendations. I didn’t have any problems throughout my day, the staff does everything you can need or think of and more. The photographer was a bit quiet at first but as soon as he saw what my mood was like he jumped up a notch and made my studio time such a fun, enjoyable time which made me feel great which was bound to come through in my photos. I knew I had one photograph for free but did not hesitate to look at all my pictures and even though I had the choice to purchase more but I just kept the one and will be back for another shoot at another time very soon. A big thank you to all at Burlingtons and New ID.
The salon staff, the service, at New ID studio - just everything was so great and I can't wait to go back again. I came to this salon after more than a few years with a local stylist who did a fabulous job for me. Constantly changing things up and always making me look great. But then all good things come to an end and she moved away. She used to do manicures and makeup at a good price, but she was gone and I need a regular stylist and salon. I have been working in the media for my entire career and I know a professional quality hair cut and colour when I see one so for a cheap price they seemed to say that they do so much. So when I booked I was determined not to take any bullshoot. Well after my several hours I spent inside this salon I could say from my heart that It doesn't get any better than this. My gifted stylist put a shine and shape to my hair that brought the broadest grin ive had for a while to my face. She is a beautiful person with a true gift with the scissors. The girls with my make up were also talented and knowledgeable and had me laughing out loud what a pair they are. My photo session was fun but its not really my thing, but when I saw the final pictures I was extremely happy. My hair and makeup both looked great. Thanks to the girls at New ID Studio.
Burlingtons and New ID studio. Wow...this is such a nice salon and studio. I just went for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing and you even get a great scalp massage during your shampoo. The stylist who cut my hair did a great job. She listened to what I wanted and provided me with her feedback and helpful suggestions. My hair looked great when she was finished. I wish she could style my hair every day! The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They give you your choice of beverage when you walk in, anywhere from water to coffee and wine, and it’s all delicious. I had the BEST stylist I have ever been to. She has fixed my singed hair and made it beautiful again! When it came to the photos I was a little nervous at first because I am not a big picture person I don’t have thousands of photos of myself in print or on a memory card somewhere. So it was going to be nice to have some actual smart prints of me. When I saw what I had to choose from there were too many good ones, I was gutted I wasn’t a hell of a lot richer. The ladies working at the register were super helpful and nice too. I'm sure I would have gotten my purse in a lot more trouble if I didn’t have any will power. I got all this with no hard sell. Great show! All in all, Burlingtons and New ID is a must for all women and men in the area!
Burlingtons and New ID is a great salon and studio and all round pleasant place to visit. I am sure there are other nice salons in the surrounding area but I bet for the prices and service you get from here it cant be beat. When I first visited here about 7 months ago I made an appointment and was treated to a really special day out. I came again to get a full set of photos of me and my husband and maybe a frame or album. The consultation was fun and even my hubby took an interest. I know he was here for me and would try his hardest to let me enjoy my day in front of the camera. He enjoyed having two or three young and beautiful woman hands on for a few hours, don’t think I didn’t notice. But that is why this place is the best they can cover anything and anyone. After we both had our hair done we looked pretty good together and we went into the studio to get the perfect pictures that I wanted so badly. I know this can depend on if you are happy with your photographer lucky for us our photographer was special, and I was amazed. In twenty minutes, she had the pair of us easily smiling, tilting my head in the most flattering directions, giggling, trying out different accessories & background options and heights at which to take photos. She is truly skilled at making you comfortable (especially my hubby) in front of the camera and creating a variety of beautiful, useful photos in a short period of time. When we went to view the photographs they were just so much better than I had ever envisaged, and by the way I did get that picture frame even though it was an early birthday present.
I only wanted a trim and when I passed Burlingtons and New ID I went in to see what they did and didn’t leave there for 4 and a half hours of pure heaven. They understood me when I said I didn’t want too much of a change but they defiantly pushed me further than I would have done on my own. My hair even thought they didn’t take much off looked lovely in a style id never have chosen. My make up the first try I really didn’t like it and they didn’t bat an eyelid and cleansed me off and started again this time I loved it. Then I wasn’t really up for having my picture taken just not my thing but it came with the cut so I done that not so comfortable for me but I relaxed just a little and I could get used to this. The photo shoot itself went very smoothly - we had a lot of fun taking photos It felt much more like spending an hour with a friend than having my picture taken, she also encouraged me to take some shots I may not have otherwise done - all of which I'm extremely happy with upon review My next cut will 100% be back here at Burlingtons and New ID. The pictures were great I just went with the one complimentary one but I could be persuaded to go back and try again quite easily. See you in three weeks.
Must sister in law and I are inseparable. Last week we were wandering around the doing our monthly clothes shop and I had a bought my best outfits in ages. We had arms full of bags and it wasn’t even midday. So we went for a coffee and as we sat we saw the pretty salon called Burlingtons and New ID. We saw happy people coming and going so we went to take a look. When we entered the inside was even better than the outside a nice mix of hustle and bustle but what seemed like a purpose about it. We asked if they had any room to take us here and now as we had too much to carry anyway. The super nice receptionist was on the phone and when she hung up it was as if ‘poof’ magically two people had just cancelled and we could be seen now. Even thought we were not expected we were treated like stars and the young gentleman who cut and styled my hair was magical. My hair was fresh and new a great feat with my sometimes unruly mop. They had some good tips on the make up but Ive been around and know most of the tricks of the trade. But the most fun was having our pictures taken, oh what fun and when viewing the pictures I so wanted to buy some but my days budget was already well over. But we both booked to come back in three weeks to have the same experience all over again but his time I am getting an album for all to see.
Burlingtons and New ID studio and salon was told to me by my friends daughter. She is a young slim beautiful girl who looks great all the time. She showed me her pictures that she had taken from New ID and she looked even more lovely than usual. There was a certain sparkle in her eyes in these pictures, and I wanted to see if it could work with an older woman, me, I wanted that sparkle.My stylist was very friendly and informative. He was very careful when washing my hair - making sure it was the right temp and that I didn't get wet. During the cut, he asked a lot about how I wanted the hair and length he cut was very exact to where I wanted it. The end product was pleasing! I loved the way he blow-dried my hair adding volume to the crown! He asked me all the details about what I was unhappy about with my previous experience at my last salon and said he would use those details to make sure that the other stylist learns from the experience and it doesn't happen again. That really demonstrated to me that he is dedicated to bettering the salon and keeping his customers happy. I was impressed with his professionalism and could tell that he takes pride in his craft as well as in his business. The photographer was just as committed to her trade and had me posing like a catwalk model. My time spent here was over far too quickly but in such a short amount of time they managed to make me feel great and look even better. I loved all the photos but only kept the one free one but next time I will go with the money to purchase one of their lovely photo albums. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been searching for the perfect salon place near me, since traveling to my regular salon was way too far for me. The facilities are very clean. The salon is beautifully set out and all the staff enjoyed their work which is always a good sign for me. I have been on the perfect hairdresser search since I moved from Cromer in Norfolk. I found it in Burlingtons and New ID. My red hair never looked so perfect or lasted longer. This was the first time I had come here and I had just gotten a cut from someone else and the stylist took one look at it and knew how to fix it immediately without cutting it all off again. My time in the studio was great even thought it was my first time as a "model" and she broke me in gently, moving me around to catch different poses and angles of light. The photographer kept up a friendly rapport, and we chatted and got to know each other as she focused her intensity on getting what she wanted into the camera, taking little breaks to let me stay relaxed. She wore a very nice dress (I actually asked her where she had bought it from it was that lovely) and she helped me keep focused towards the photoshoot by cracking some jokes. It was actually a great way to get me relaxed and put me into more of an exploration mindset instead of needing to be posed. All in all, she's got a wonderful eye for photography and that's what really matters. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to capture some great shots of your self.
I went to New ID studio thinking it would be just another high end salon with an overblown ego. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The salon itself was very high end looking but as I walked in I didn’t feel any snobbery and only saw smiles and felt a really good vibe. The receptionist was welcoming and eager to please, and she offered me a bucks fizz free of charge, that was a nice start to my day. I was then sat down for my consultation which I didn’t know what that meant but it was basically a sit down and chat about what I wanted and what was possible with my hair, face and pictures. The hair stylist was a very talented and skilled professional. She made me feel very comfortable, and she gave me exactly what I was looking for. She also had many of her own ideas, and her creativity paid off. The photographer that I sat for was a star she said all the right things and got me into a great frame of mind which you could see in my pictures. There aren't many salons that I have been to and I have been to quite a few, where you can get a perfect balance of what is wanted in your mind and taking a risk and trusting someone else's professional opinion. In this case, I am truly grateful that something brought me to Burlingtons and New ID studio. I would tell anyone who will listen to come and try this lovely friendly salon. Great cuts, great staff, great make up and finally a great photo finish.
I walked into Burlingtons and New ID studio and was greeted with big smiles. I had been waiting for this day for over four weeks as I had to cancel my first appointment due to my work. So when I finally got my chance I was so excited. I took several photographs of the hair do what I wanted and they appreciated my input. Of course I knew I would never look 100% like the models in the magazine that I brought but I tell you what I looked pretty damn close, it was an amazing job that they done with my hair and the make up I looked like a super model. Well that’s what I thought any way and I felt like one. The salon itself was a beautiful place and as I sat in my comfortable chair looking at my reflection with my bucks fizz in my hand I was in seventh heaven. I looked great and felt great. I was then directed to the studio for my photoshoot and I don’t have a degree in photography or art but the way these photos of me came out even my untrained eye could tell they were taken by professionals. Everything about them screamed top class. I had such trouble choosing which ones I wanted to keep. If had known about Burlingtons and New ID before I would have been here once a month which is what I am willing to do now. My heart goes out to these beautifully talented people who made my day a unforgettable one
In recent times I have had some real bad mad hair days and my friend at work always had such cute haircuts. I don’t like to ask but I just had to and she told me about Burlingtons was the place she had been to for the past two years and now they were also the place for not just a hair cut but a complete makeover. This sounded like this was the place for me. I had a look at their website and it was Burlingtons and New ID studio. The value for money was out of this world, so I phoned and booked a deluxe makeover and photoshoot. I couldn’t wait for my first appointment there. The first staff I met were very warm and welcoming and I was soon sat down to have my hair washed, they gave me a great head massage and were great at gauging my mood in if I wanted to chat or let me relax. And I was in chat mode and I was made to feel like a friend as well as a customer. My hair stylist for the first time in years understood what "take the weight out" meant. I have thick hair, and it can get really heavy, especially when it's long. Just watching the technique made me so relieved and happy, and the end result was beautiful, I just loved it. My photo session was not my most comfortable time but they did try their hardest to make me relax and it worked because the final product was the best pictures of me in years. I had gone from mad hair to cute in just a few hours and I have the pictures to prove it. Ta very much Burlingtons and New ID studio.
I went to Burlingtons and New ID because my sister had been there before me and came away with great photographs and a great story of her day spent there. This place sounded great. I was a little hesitant trying out a new place, but I'm so glad I did! There's nothing like going into a salon, having the stylist actually listen to you when you tell them what you want, and then leaving happy with your new awesome looking 'do. My stylist was great. Not only did she do an awesome job and was totally professional, but she was also very sweet. She really listened to what I wanted and then took additional time to show me how to curl my hair: what products to use, how exactly to do it, etc. It was amazing!! I can now curl my hair and love the products I bought. It was just so considerate of her to basically give me a tutorial so I could fix my locks at home. Working with all the staff at Burlingtons and New ID is a wonder and a dream. My photographer was a true professional who clearly understands the beauty of the female figure at any size. She knows how to position every part of your body down to your wrist so you look spectacular in every shot. I am a big girl and so sometimes I am nervous in front of the camera and she still was able to make my inner diva shine through. This is a talent in itself as most photographers don't have the patience, not so with the New ID team. If I have to choose a photographer and salon to go to or recommend there is no question Burlingtons and New ID studio is the first name to pop into my head.
My hair has sort of become an ongoing project, it was originally mousey brown, then blonde then dark brown and then blonde again. I am now wanting to bet back closer to my original colour if a little bit darker. Several girls in my office had been to New ID and sung its praises. So with a new colour needed by me the price alone for a colour elsewhere was not that much lower the price at New ID but with the added bonus of a makeover photoshoot which from what the girls told me was a great time well spent. All the staff from the receptionist right through to the young girl who was sweeping up the hair were smiling and polite and friendly. It was a little bit strange I have never been anywhere that all the staff seemed to really enjoy their work. But that being a rare thing also a great thing if its you that is the customer. My stylist sat me down and got going with my colouring. The colour that I finished up with was lovely it was perfect and the new cut and style went so well together. When I had my pictures taken I was so happy with my new hair the smile on my face was huge and I had to tone it down a bit because I wanted to have some pouty pictures so that I looked like a professional model. The final results in the pictures were great I was glowing and the pictures made my hair look even more vibrant which was quite difficult to do. The girls were right and I for one will be frequenting this place called Burlingtons and New ID for many years to come
I looove being offered bucks fizz when checking in for my appointment, that act alone is worthy of a five star rating and a surefire repeat customer. When I sat down for my consultation I kinda knew what I wanted from my deluxe makeover photoshoot. So I grabbed my second glass of bucks fizz and swung into my styling chair and it was great I chatted with the girl for over ten minutes before she even made a move for the scissors. When I explained what I wanted she told me it would look less than superb. She explained and showed me and she was right. Good service there. I then was off for my photoshoot and I had some photos taken about two years before and the photographer was an arrogant twit. What a change! I can honestly say if you want a photographer who will take fun candid shots go to New ID. If you want a photography session that is chilled and easy to relax and feel like you haven’t got a camera pointed just at you then New ID is the place to go. After quite a few changes of my clothes I threw in, I was loving it. And it was over far too soon. As I then went in to view my pictures and they looked lovely, I was so happy and I would go back in a second. I didn’t spend any money on extra prints because my budget couldn’t handle that but I did but some hair products and a little make up. Thanks to all the New ID team for a wonderful day worthy of a perfect score of 10/10
New ID combines the best of both worlds in terms of hairstyling and photography. The experience and professionalism they showed when it came to my styling and taking great pictures was top draw. My last try at a posh salon up town was a pedestrian haircut, and color that made me look like a two-tone half-platinum half-dark blond freak show. They tried to explain to me about what went wrong and how it could now easily be fixed. The way my day started was great the hair wash was the best because I had my head massaged as they washed and that felt great. It relaxed me beautifully for the rest of my day. When they finished my haircut and colour I felt great and looked even better. Then it was time for my photoshoot and I would now see if they were as good at that as they are at hair treatments. The photographers personality made the shoot extra enjoyable. He offered advice in every way during the shoot, where and how to pose, and even told me to think of certain things to clear my mind and get me in the right frame of mind for my photos. The shoot had a feel similar to chatting with a friend and taking a walk in the park. This was because he knew how to take advantage of my natural expression and body movement to capture the frames he thought would look the best. All in all I found my whole experience with New ID studio to be very positive and I am happy to become a return customer because I don’t get to experience this much pampering every day
I have been to New ID twice and thoroughly enjoyed it on both occasions. The first time I went I went alone and it was a great treat and a nice day out and it certainly gave my confidence a big boost because even though I say so myself they made me look stunning and that is no mean feat! I had such a wonderful time I really wanted to share the experience with my husband, he took a bit of persuading but eventually I got him to go along with me and we had a very nice deluxe makeover for two. I am not sure what he was expecting to happen but he told just about every member of staff in there that he did not want to look like a drag queen, quite why he was under the impression that anybody was going to do that to him is a bit of a mystery to me, but in actual fact eventually he let them put a bit of foundation on his face anyway so he may not have looked like a drag queen but he did have a bit of makeup on, sorry Barry, I did say I would not mention that, ha ha.
We had a very romantic session photography wise and I was very impressed with the composition of the pictures they were intimate but not over the top and since we had them delivered you would be amazed how many of our friends have gone and had a couples makeover as well and all have reported back that it did wonders for their marriage so you get even more out of it than you were anticipating.
I was very impressed with the New ID team, they made me feel very welcome and very special on both occasions and if I did want to go and have a makeover again I would certainly not use any other company.
I went to Burlingtons and New ID studio for the simple make up lesson the price was minimal and for what i learnt it was great. It's amazing what you think you know until someone shows you differently. Just with a few simple ideas and tips of what to do and what not to do can make a world of difference. You know what it is like you learn most of what you know about make up from your mum, sisters or best friends at school and then you find it quite hard to change what almost becomes a habit. When they showed me by matching certain tones with other certain colours you can make yourself look completely different. From vibrant to cool and sexy and even make you look so natural it's like you are wearing virtually nothing at all. They were not pushy and snobbish about what I knew they just helped me to understand what I could do with a simple brush here and there. When I had finished I loved the results and immediately asked if I could get some photos taken of my new look. But that day they were full to the brim with customers. So i booked an appointment for the following week which was going to include a hair styling session and then some time in the photographic studio to capture my new look for ever. That was the best thing I have done in ages as the photos of me and my completely new made up face and new hair style were captured on film and I even splashed out on extra prints for my family to enjoy. I will be back to visit New ID with the prices that they offer it is a no brainer. You can have the treatments you want for an affordable price and not go over budget by saying no to any extra prints, but it is hard to do as they look so marvellous. Now I have two things they have given me the photos which I love and the extra knowledge of what they taught me that first day. Thank you ever so much, I recommend to everyone to visit and I'd bet money that you will not be disappointed with your results.
My big brother gave me a great birthday present for me, an Icon makeover photoshoot form Burlingtons and New ID in central London. When I got the gift it wasn’t too much of a surprise as I had been bugging him to but me it for over two months. The biggest surprise was the package that he bought me. The Icon package was an lot more than I had expected because with the icon they not only wash, cut and styled my hair but I also had the chance to change my colour which I have only done myself before so to be able to get it done professionally was a great experience. We sat and chatted about what colour would be best for me but the final decision was to be mine. I have the typical mousy brown hair and I really didn’t know which way to go in terms of colour. Should I go blonde? Or should I go brunette, or even black. I have been blessed with a great complextion which is quite dark, thanks to my grandmother who was Italian. So I chose to go black because once you go there apparently you don’t return! I received super star treatment from the stylist and my hair came out looking much better than I could ever have imagined. My photo session was ok they treated me very well but ive never been comfortable in front of the camera and they could tell. They tried to help me through but I feel I let myself down and didn’t expect my pictures to be that great. So when I was sat down for my viewing I could not believe my eyes the pictures were out of this world. I had to ask if they were showing me the right ones because with my new hair colour I didn’t recognize myself. It was at this point I found out that my parents had paid for me to buy a photo album so that was a brilliant surprise. The album was lovely, the photos were fantastic and my whole day was heavenly. Please believe me when I say these were the best birthday presents I have had and that’s thanks to my day spent at Burlingtons and New ID studios.
I had such a great experience at the New ID studio and salon. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with a big smile; the staff was really friendly and professional. I thought they will have the biggest scare of their life with my long curly hair. I have had pretty much the same style for the past ten years, this was also down to the fact I have been seeing the same stylist for that time. But I have just become a single woman again so I needed and I wanted a complete makeover and was well prepared to have my long curly locks cut all the way back for a brand new look for me to go with the photographs which I had booked in to have taken. After I poured my soul out they took what I had said and went to work on my ten year old hair do. When they had finished I could have cried I have never looked so good I love my new short short look and even if I say so myself I looked years younger. That was before I had my makeup session and even if I thought they put a bit too much on, much more than I wear normally, but I was assured that it was for the photos and to make me shine. They were proved right yet again. My photos that I had to choose from were the best I had ever seen of me. You could actually sense the great vibe that I felt while taking the photos just by looking at them. The service and quality provided by all the staff was outstanding. I will be back and next time I hope to bring a newly found boyfriend.
New ID is a very comfortable and relaxed salon. The staff is very knowledgeable and they are perfectionists! Just what I needed because I am a red head and my colour isn’t my favourite asset about myself. I've been trying to grow my hair longer, and because of this I was really hesitant to get my hair cut because stylists always cut off more than I desire. I was not only able to keep my length but add layers and thickness to it at the same time. I did think about dying my hair a darker colour but they convinced me otherwise because they told me with the right style the colour was great with my face. My stylist knew what I really wanted after we had just a few min conversation. I am incredibly impressed with her and am definitely going back to see this stylist again because this friendly young lady is the most talented stylist I have ever met. I must say that all the New ID staff are great. Saturday was my first time and definitely not my last. No matter what other salons I have been to, I always could find something that bothered me. There are quite a few snobbish people in the high end salons but not here at New ID. The photo shoot experience itself was awesome. I told my photographer my ideas and he helped make it into something bigger and better than I could have imagined. The most amazing thing I can tell you about my New ID experience was the price I paid, which was a measly 50 pounds for a deluxe photoshoot. The price says it all but the picture I got said a lot more. Thank you New ID for making me feel more confident with my new style but original colour
Burlingtons and New ID studio where do I start? At the beginning I suppose. Well I recently visited this wonderful utopia on October, 2011. Let me just say that I have always been skeptical about getting a makeover because they all appear over-priced. This place which two of my friends have visited and have not stopped telling me how fantastic a time they had been shown at Burlingtons and New ID and at avery cheap price. So I checked them out online and the prices seemed too good to be true. So I went to see what they were about. So upon my arrival, they were going to have to totally blow my mind. Guess What? They did! The photographer is great at what he does! I had my picture session with him and it was incredible. I felt comfortable and natural. He's full of such great ideas and really knows how to capture a great shot. The end product turned out great and now I have some beautiful pictures that will last a life time. Thank you so much. In my opinion, their attention to detail and customer service can never be surpassed. The young lady that performed the hair cut and style was warm, pleasant and highly professional. She quickly and quietly put to rest any of my reservations. She took her time and worked her magic. I didn't know it was possible to experience such a transformation on my hair. She made me feel like a million dollers. Simply put, it was the most wonderful treatment, of any kind, I have ever gotten. At a time when my money is short and frustrations long, it was great to have gotten top value for my hard earned cash. That is precisely why I will be coming back indefinitely. I can think of few ways to better spend what little cash I do have. Thanks to all who assisted in making me feel so dynamic and the photos are just as good as my friends ones in fact mine are even better. They will be jealous.
I thoroughly enjoyed my makeover with New ID makeover studio, it was a great success from start to finish and I am ever so glad that I went. I had wanted to have a makeover for many years, since my sister had one in fact, I have always admired the pictures she has of her and her kids around the house but for me I was scared to go because of a birth mark I have on my cheek that runs to my ear that has had me feeling from the camera just about all my life. It was my sister that pointed out to me that not only would having a makeover put me in a position to have a makeover with a professional makeup lady that would be able to cover most of it, it would also be with a professional photographer that would know how to take pictures without it showing up so in the end I went. Not only did the makeup lady to a great job of hiding the mark she showed me how to do it as well and since I have been to New ID I have been confidently removing it myself with makeup ever since and you would not believe how much confidence it has given me, there is not a trace of the mark on any of the nine pictures that I brought and none of them have been airbrushed so you can tell how good the makeup woman was, she did a great job and made it look really easy but now with the right makeup and the right know how I find it really easy as well.. I am not saying to only go to New ID if you have a problem like this because it’s a great place for anybody but if you do have a problem like this is really is an amazing place to go because they teach you so much about hiding bad features.
When I was bought a makeover photoshoot experience by my currant boyfriend I jumped at the chance of mucking about all day with my hair my make and then a pro photoshoot in a proper studio, I couldn’t wait to see how the day would unfold. What I experienced was beyond phenomenal and I have referred numerous friends to the New ID studio. I have superb photographs of my day. It felt like I was on a reality TV programme I was waiting for the hidden cameras to come out at any stage. The New ID studio entire staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. I have never had a makeover before and I cant see how it can be bettered anywhere else anywhere in the world. I have received numerous comments on how great my pictures turned out. They went above and beyond to make sure that they captured all of the best moments that you hope to be captured during your day out. My photographer (I love saying that out loud) was very caring and intuitive, also very funny- strange sense of humour, which I enjoyed. I had one of the best experiences of my life at this place and really cannot wait till I go again which will be much sooner rather than later. Everything about my day was perfect for me. I did spend quite a bit of money on some hair products and some make up. But as I sometime spend a small fortune when I go to Boots I didn’t mind as my money is well spent on me. Just need to say again how brilliant my day was and come to think of it how did my boyfriend find such a great place before me. I may need to follow that one up. Thanks a lot New ID see you soon xx
My mate and I went for a Fashion makeover for two at new id the package cost us forty five pounds that we thought was pretty reasonable the deal included a welcome drink, although the drinks were free for the entire time that we were there, then we had a consultation which in actual fact was more of an informal chat to see what we had brought to have our pictures taken in and to establish what we wanted done with our hair and our makeup and things like that. Then we had our hair styled, we didn’t have it washes as that was not part of the package but we had both washed our hair before we left so that was no problem and they did really nice styles for us although mine was a bit welded to my head with hair spray but it looked really good in the pictures so I didn’t mind and I found it all pretty easy to brush out afterwards, my hair does its own thing most of the time anyway so I could see why they had to do that to it, we loved having the pictures taken, I was expecting to feel really embarrassed and freeze up but I was great and I had a lot more confidence than I expected, I put that down to the fact that I felt so good because I looked so good so it just goes to show that it does work, no matter how long you spend trying to look great you are always going to look way better when you are in the hands of the professionals. The viewing session was great and I could not believe how professional the shots were you would have been forgiven for thinking we were professional models, well almost. We chose the pictures we wanted, of course they do their best to try to get you to buy a few more but that is clearly where they make money because they cant be making a lot on the makeovers. We both really enjoyed our new Id makeovers it was good fun and made us both feel really good about ourselves.
I think that New ID are a great place to start if you are thinking of getting a job in modeling, my friends and family always told me I should be a model but I never had any confidence to do it, well not until I went to New iD at least. It is not that this company and this makeover give you a load of old guff about you can be a model and give us loads of money and we will put you on the right path or anything like that, not at all but what it does do is put you in makeup that really suits you and brings out the best in you and makes you see your potential and to me that is really important, having a makeover with New iD for me was an integral part of me finding the model within and I got the confidence I needed to go ahead and go for it. I loved having my pictures taken just that bit of time with a professional photographer showed me all I need to see to know that I could do it and if I dug deep I could find the confidence , I learnt so much about how to stand and how to pose and how to be a model rather than just a girl standing there having my picture taken, although they did not fill me full of hot air about my looks I could tell right away how impressed they were and I knew they could see my potential, to me the photographer treated me like a professional model from the word go and I knew he could see my future even if he didn’t tell me exactly, it was more about the way he gave me direction and took the shots. I was totally overwhelmed when I was in the viewing session and even though the girls showing me the shots did not really say it exactly either I could tell she was in awe of them and for the first time I saw the true extent of my beauty, now I have sent my shots to all of the model agencies and I am sure I will be hearing back from them very soon. This is a great way to find your feet if you want to be a model, I would tell anybody to just go for it, it worked for me!
I dragged my partner literally kicking and screaming to New ID so we could have some professional pictures of us together, just about all of my friends seem to have them these days and I was getting fed up with us not having any. Richard hates having his picture taken more than anybody I know in the entire world, I can understand why because he does generally look like a total muppet in pictures but then having seen what a great job New ID have done for my friends I was fairly convinced that he would look good this time. I had to barter with him and now he doesn’t have to do any washing up for a year, but it was still worth it, even though he ended up having a great time and now he wants to go again! Typical;
I think one of the main reasons it went off so well for us, other than the fact that we got loads of free Bucks Fizz was that the staff made us feel so welcome and are clearly very good at making men that don’t really want to be there, want to be there. Richard was made such a big fuss of by the staff I am not actually sure he wanted to leave, they kept him happy while I had my makeup done, we had our hair done together.
The photo session was awesome, we had some fun shots and some romantic shots and some individual shots as well, the photographer was very friendly and very professional and he got some super shots of us, we were really pleased with them, we spent a fortune on the pictures but to us they were really worth it and now we have some amazing pictures of us on the walls in our flat and we gifted a couple to family as well, the small pictures make a great gift and the vouchers would as well. Guys out there my chap loved this experience so if your girl asks, just go for it!
I guess there are a lot of great reasons to go to New ID, I have read a lot of reviews from people that have gone for all sorts of reasons , for me it was basically just vanity, I have always loved hair and makeup and fashion and I already have heaps of photos of myself all over my flat but I thought it was about time that I got some professional ones done, a friend of mine had hers done and they looked really good and I was not going to be outdone by her so I booked up with New ID because I know quite a few people who have been with them and they have all been really happy with the results so that to me was the obvious choice, as soon as I got in there I knew that it I was the right choice, they were really professional on reception and I liked that, they also treated me with quite a lot of respect and I find that to be very important as well, I have done a bit of modeling in the past so it is not like I am some total nobody off the street that has no idea what I am going on about. I wa pretty impressed with the hair cut, it could have been a bit shorter but I guess that it is better to have it too long than too short, the girl basically did what I asked her to do, it was quite good, the makeup was very impressive, I know my way around cosmetics so this was the big thing to me to see how well they could do it and as far as I am concerned they aced it so that was all good. I was well impressed with the studio even thought it was not that big it had some great props and backgrounds and the lighting was excellent, I was very impressed with the photographer who gave very easy to follow direction and he certainly captured who I am an in a way I wanted to look so it was top dollar all round if you ask me, I brought seven pictures which is three more than I had planned so what can I say, yes this place is great
If anybody asks you to go and have a makeover with them at New ID take my advice and go for it, its great, they treat you really well in there and they do the most amazing job of the makeover they really are the most professional outfit I have been to and that includes all of the places that I have had my makeup done and that is a lot and all of the places that I have had my hair done and I have been to just about every hairdresser in my area and from now on the only place I will go going to have my hair done is the New ID studio because they great and I have recommended them to all of my friends as well The makeover is a great laugh and they do a really nice job of making you look awesome but at the same time they keep it fun so that is great, there is wall to wall Bucks Fizz that really adds a touch of occasion to it and l love a drink so that make it really great for me. The hair and makeup were both done really professionally and I was feeling like a super model by the time they were done with me and I strutted into the photo set like I owned the place it was great. The photographer was really good and gave me lots of suggestions about how to stand and how to look and he did a great job of getting the best out of me and out of all of the props and the backgrounds. I had to wait about an hour to see the pictures, that was a bit long but it was well worth the wait and I was really impressed with them, I ended up spending a bit more than I planned but that was great because the deal I got on the makeover was really cheap. This experience is easy to book, not expensive, makes you feel amazing and is great fun, what more could a girl want?
I have shopped in and around Oxford and Regent street for all my life. I noticed The New ID studio and salon in the area but I never gave them a thought because I was satisfied with my then current hair dresser. One day I just decided to go into New ID and see what it looked like. What a beautiful place it turned out to be. I was greeted by a friendly young lady. She asked me if I had ever been to the salon before, when I said no she gave a little history of the salon which I thought was nice and professional. She then asked me if I had any problems with my hair and I said yes, it is dry and really hard for me to control. I was then told about the whole days session which included a photoshoot and I was shown some other peoples before and after results and I was astonished. I booked an appointment there and then for the following week. They gave me a conditioning treatment and a blowdry and cut. My hair was so soft and shiny, I was amazed. The price was a little higher then what I was paying but my hair never felt like this. At first I was a little hesitant about it, but now after it is all said and done, it was the best money i spent. Not only was my day at New ID so FUN, they took the most beautiful, original photos I've ever seen. They captured everything about my inner beauty that I wanted. And they knew how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera as well. I feel so lucky to have found this place. It was a perfect experience and now I have absolutely beautiful photographs to remember my day forever!! I would recommend New ID to anyone, especially if they appreciate the artistic side of photography and a damn good hair cut. Thanks 
Although New ID studio can be a very expensive at times, I now personally believe it was and is worth every penny. I went there for an Icon makeover photoshoot, which I think at 250 quid is a very reasonable price to pay for what the whole day entails. It is without a doubt the best place to get your hair cut and colored and then made up and ready for your photoshoot. The staff seemed to really care about their clients and I had to trust them to do anything with my hair. And I was right to do so as my hair was cut and coloured like I never had seen before. The staff at the front desk were friendly and didn’t get annoyed if you ask too many questions. The stylists are amazing . I have been to New ID just the once but it wont be the last. The right hairdresser is worth every extra penny paid. I waited until just before the photoshoot before having my first bucks fizz for a little dutch courage, and it was yummy and not my only one throughout the rest of the day.
The photoshoot itself was very personable. It was my first professional photo session and I was made to feel so comfortable and natural. With each photo, my personality was captured. Great photography! I love my pictures, my photographer was awesome. They have a true passion for photography which makes the experience enjoyable. I feel in love with my photos. I thank all at New ID studio for sharing their enthusiasm and skill with others!
The New ID Salon is more than a salon it's a full service beauty stop. You can get hair, nails, make-up and photographs all in one place. The consultant was very pleasant, and really knows how to treat her customers. The hair stylists were nice, professional and really know their craft. I recommend New ID Studio to all my friends and clients when they are looking for a great place to get pampered and feel beautiful with fantastic photos to boot. New ID is brilliant the second you walk in the door. I love it! Far from being elitists, it's quite a down to earth place with no condescending remarks and they made my cut really beautiful they do have an eye for movement and beauty in cut and style. Make a “u-turn” into New ID studio pronto!
It was easy to book over the internet, flexible meeting times, and excellent choice of packages. The photographs of my day spent at New ID are beautiful and reflect the day When i received the pictures i was amazed at how my inner beauty was evident. They captured me perfectly. I am so glad that my photographer was a great person to work with. Not only are the pictures gorgeous, he is professional and patient, responds quickly to your concerns and questions and is a pleasure to work with.
You know, I did research this place and was a little iffy at first. But sometimes, people just love to be critics, write crazy reviews. I just tell it as it is. Well, I was very impressed with New ID. If you like a great ambience, talented designers and a great haircut in the end without paying a fortune, then this is the place. I'm coming back. New ID Studio was chosen for me by my secretary When I arrived at the very smart and sophisticated salon just off regent street I knew what I had going on that day because I had researched the icon package and was looking forward to having a days style consultation to see how good I could look. The receptionist was lovely. I work with a cosmetics company and I had no recent photos or anything of myself. I came for my appointment and we talked and I felt we were on the same page about what was to be done with my hideous looking hair. After they finished my hair I now get complements everywhere I go. I think I may have been spoiled by this salon because I can't see myself going anywhere else and expect the same treatment and have excellent hair at the same time. You guys have saved my hair and gave me confidence, hair is very important! If you haven't tried New ID Studio you are missing out! I love the staff here. Can’t wait for my next visit! I was amazed at the photographs! They were so much better and they retouched everything to make it perfect. To top it off it was really fun working with the photographer because he has a great demeanor and is very fair with everything. Thanks New ID I can't wait till my next session. All the staff are so wonderful with their care and dedication to give a great service. I'll refer their services to everyone.
New ID studio is amazing! They have a way of making you feel completely comfortable while maintaining a professional atmosphere. The complementary bucks fizz that I was given was a great start to my day. Even the makeup artist was wonderful, she did an impressive job!
I came to this salon for my first time on a Saturday after trying dozens of stuck up expensive salons in the city. I FINALLY found this place! I had a haircut and hand and head massage and everything came out AMAZING!! Im so happy, everybody at this salon was so friendly. I will definitely be back
One of the reasons I chose New ID studio was because they quoted a reasonable price and because we were on a tight budget we accepted it. But we were wary! low price normally equals cheap service. Nothing was ignored or undone. When i got to look at my photos i was even more surprised how beautiful they were. When i sat to choose my pictures for my album i did pay extra for more prints. I have to say the albums are beautiful and in all price ranges. Flexibility was not a problem. I received the most beautiful pictures of myself...and they actually look like me. They were able to get me to express myself in such a way it came out in the pictures. I live in South east London and will be travelling to New ID when I'm ready to take more! Yes, it’s that good!
